That footage must be one of the few missions I haven't done yet as I don't recognise it
Looks extremely similar to my 3080 equipped PC os in that sense they've done a decent job.

City still looks pretty lifeless and the way people just bump into each other is a bit jarring.

Looks like a decent step up. Crowd ai seems to have had a rework too.

It looks quite stunning if I'm honest. Fuck knows what the game is like but I might just install it just to look at it.
Upgrade on PS Store now it seems.

30fps and 1440p and no ray tracing for anyone on a series S
Performance mode for ps5 and series X is 60fps 4k
Fidelity is 4k with ray traced shadows at 30fps

I like my ray tracing too much... I'm going with Fidelity.

It's just shadows though, not reflections.

I think I'll choose ray tracing. Remote downloading now so I'll have a butchers when I get home from work.

It's just shadows though, not reflections. I've been playing Dying Light 2 with raytraced shadows and I find it just a bit more immersive. Not fussed about 60 in this type of game. I only REALLY notice it in something like Odyssey or Sekiro tbh. I don't think I need it in an FPS.
Different if it was some kind of Destiny style shooter where I need ninja reflexes, but I don't think this is that. or is it? I have no idea come to think of it.

oh shit, PS5. I'm probably going to need to reinstall the old version to upload my save file, won't I?

Just got notified that the PS4 game is on sale for £20. Suppose this is when I jump on it too.

Yeah I might pick it up again for £20. The streets still look completely bare though.

Can't sniff at 20 quid, but I still get the feeling they are expecting everyone to effectively beta test this build for them so think I'll leave it. Really bad month to try and drop it I think.

I'd be shocked/impressed if much has been done to fundamentally alter the AI and the way it behaves. Or at least use smoke and mirrors to hide the fact it's held together with blu tac.

£12.50-ish, if you have access to a Turkish account. I'm quite tempted now, but I'll have a go of the trial first of course!

So no DLC news then? That's a shame. Not much to make the PC experience much different in return for 47GB download.
It's too late for me seeing as I'm almost at the level cap but I'm interested in what the 'rebalance of gameplay, economy and loot systems' actually entails. I did find the crafting in particular a bit ridiculous.

Fuck it, bought. Pretty risk free at 20 quid. Least it sounds like they've at least tried to improve the AI.

Did they mention if the trial progress will carry over if you buy?

Oh actually just noticed the trial. Yeah it will do, looks like it's just the full game with a timer on it.

Quite tempted to start up a new playthrough and see how the overall experience differs. Expansion might be out by the time I’m done then.

That's the difference between a Trial and a Demo, isn't it? Demo is a smaller download giving an idea of a full game, where a Trial is the full game download with a limit to your playtime, which once purchase just unlocks the rest of it? Am I wrong?
