Happy to see the some of the entitled big time Charlies going out. Though the way things are going European football is gonna be a closed shop for all but the rich leagues. Scottish Champions have qualify for the Champions league, sure if they did well enough to raise the coefficients for the league then they would not have to (thx Rangers)). But how do you build teams on lower budgets when the big leagues take your best players, you are always gonna be lower tier and the the rich will get richer as more and more non Champions are let in from high coefficient leagues who have the budgets to buy better players, it's a vicious circle that UEFA are fully on board with. Used to be a huge football fan. My interest has gone from having every streaming service to watch games, to now sometimes watching the highlights on Youtube. VAR, Superleagues, Coefficient bullshit, not the game I grew up with and not the game I can live with now. This should be in the rant thread  |
