Immortals Fenyx Rising on Switch £12.95 at The game collection this weekend

Yeah, I have no interest in Fortnite or Rocket League updates, so at the very least I'll be unticking those once the coupon has arrived. Also worth noting that there's a sale starting on the 18th so may be worth waiting until then to maximise any savings... I caved and bought The Eternal Cylinder without waiting for the sale to start. I'll be annoyed if it gets discounted.

£16 for the PS4 version of Immortals too, which gets the PS5 update for free afaik. Think I'll bite at that price!

If someone would be so kind as to buy this OG copy of Dead Cells on PS4, so it can stop haunting my dreams and tempting me to spend money I don't have on another game I don't have time to play, I'd certainly appreciate it!
(Joking aside, I do think it's a bargain at that price. YMMV.)

Some great deals on roguelikes on Steam currently. Whatever you're into, there's probably something you'll like. Moon Hunters is a very unconventional one that does some interesting things with story progression. You might hear people tell stories about the actions of characters from previous runs, letting you build your own mythology. It's also very low-pressure: combat is easy and forgiving by roguelike standards, and you can finish runs easily, but there are multitudes of win conditions and completing the main quest is the difficult part. Same goes for Hyperrogue, which is set on an infinite hyperbolic plane. If you're unaware, a hyperbolic plane is a type of surface on which you can draw two infinite non-parallel lines that never intersect. It's the only game I know that uses non-Euclidean geometry in more than just a superficial way: the game space is actually alien and disorienting, and that's before you get into the things that it contains, which all play with the hyberbolicness in interesting ways. The big names like FTL and Into The Breach I probably don't need to tell you about, but they're also cheap.

I caved and bought The Eternal Cylinder without waiting for the sale to start. I'll be annoyed if it gets discounted. Ooh, I've not heard of Eternal Cylinder before, looks interesting. I think you're safe buying it now, its current 10% discount ends as the sale begins so I doubt it'll be discounted again for a while. I'm waiting for the sale to start but if there's nothing tempting in it I'll probably go for The Riftbreaker, which has its 10% launch discount until the 21st.

It's by Ace Team and I really enjoyed Deadly Tower of Monsters, plus Jim Rossignol liked it so it seemed worth taking a chance.

I'm waiting for the sale to start but if there's nothing tempting in it I'll probably go for The Riftbreaker, which has its 10% launch discount until the 21st. The Riftbreaker has a demo on Steam, just in case you weren't aware. Was between that and maybe Death's Door for my Epic coupon, but having tried the demo I'm not convinced it's for me so probably Death's Door.

Good shout. But typically Deaths Door has 20% off at the moment bringing it down to just under the £13.99 limit /o\

Also want to get Tony Hawk 1+2, but kinda want to wait (and hope) for a discount on the Switch version. It seems like it'd get a lot more play on the couch.

It works in Euroland (15.99) so I assumed it would work for GBP too. I grabbed it and while it definitely looks the part, it’s not super-compelling, for me at least. I’m very happy to put it down after an hour.

Thanks for the heads up - I went the Gamepass route for Riftbreaker, so my Epic coupon is probably going to be used on Black Book...

That's one big difference between RPS and here, all this weird talk of getting games delivered.

Someone has to deliver all those ones and zeroes to the Big Cloudy Bucket o' Games in the sky. Some call them angels.

Just two steep discounts that seemed worth mentioning.

By the way, Outpost 2 - Divided Destiny has shown up on gog not too long ago. Not on sale currently, but it's just 5,59 €. Kind of an RTS and base builder I believe.
Edit: Oh, and Happy Game by Amanita releases tomorrow.

Not a bad game at all, I was expecting so much worse with Double Helix as the developers.

Not sure if anyone on PC hasn't already hoovered up Control: Ultimate Edition when it has been in bundles or giveaways, but it's presently THIRTY NINE PENCE for a GoG key. £0.39. If you've yet to play it, or you only played it on conslol, whacking all the RayTracing goodness up to max and still getting > 60fps is a glorious GLORIOUS way to play this game. Sort it out.
