There is a very interesting frame at the start of that trailer if you pause it. Bit spoilery so I won't post it but you can have a look yourself around the 13 second mark.

Confirms what everyone suspects unless they are hiding something because I'm not sure why The need to keep that characters name a secret. Son?

I'm not sure baihu1983, I was referring to this:
You can clearly see Neo, in the real world, alive and well, but plugged back into the Matrix, and being worked on by multiple machines. It's the same Neo from the original trilogy, as he has his eyes burned out still, which you can also see.
So that explains how he's back, he never died. Trinity however, she seemed pretty much dead so they'll have to explain that one.

Yeah that looked alright. I'd watch that.
Tbh I watch most things the Wachowskis do. Even if they're flaming piles of garbage, they're usually interesting and unique flaming piles of garbage.

What a relief. I've finally got to see John Wick with a rubber ducky on his head.

Oh that shot. looks it as they appear to be fixing a wound on Neos stomach. The machines did take Neos body at the end of 3 and he was showing a light source at the time. The Matrix online had a bit with Morpheus demanding him back. Plus we see the code breaking through on Trinity's face so maybe she will turn out fake like the red dress lady? Maybe the machines trying to use her to keep him in The Matrix or humans to make him remember?
Either way the trailer got me excited to see this. Will no doubt watch the originals nearer release

Absolutely no idea what is going on in that trailer, but I'm there.
Weird seeing someone else as Morpheus.

Machines came and got her the second neo wandered off and repaired her with nanobots using their wacky year 3000 technology they developed after harvesting people for years. Its not massively difficult to handwave both of them away if you are happy to completely devalue the ending of the entire previous trilogy.

Are his eyes burned out? Looking at it again now and they appear to just be closed.

I dunno about devaluing it but it looks like they might be subverting it somewhat. The brightly lit Matrix with shiny colors is very clearly the Matrix that Sati created at the end of Revolutions, and I’m pretty sure that’s supposed to be her in one of the quick shots of various stuff. The implication could be that Sati, as the new architect, turned out to be just as bad as Will Ferrell’s Concordantly.

Guys, I don’t think we need spoiler tags for a public trailer.

The thing I take away from the last one is that neo had to sacrifice everything to save everyone, something the other neos werent willing to do or had nothing they wanted to keep hold of, which is why we got resets.
If the thing he sacrificed, basically trinity (and himself but whatever) wasnt really sacrificed, I think it would cheapen then ending a bit.
Im sure they have thought about that and I am talking shit, but they whole point of the first trilogy is having the freedom to make decisions and he made a pretty big one to be cool.
