Fuck it feels good to be back. Looks absolutely stunning. After obsessively flicking between the two modes for 10 minutes I'm convinced the both look completely identical.

Yeah the audio is great. On the original I thought the low gravity bits were awful, the one I've done on the remake was awesome.

It's quite interesting that some routes have been subtly changed and it's thrown me off massively so it's actually making me really cautious playing. Plus I don't think I've ever seen such a thick darkness. This definitely feels way more different than a graphical uplift.

How do the guns feel with the Dualsense? It's subtle but nice you feel every bullet being fired as well as the reload. You can even change all the buttons around too which I haven't seen in a game that's not on a PC for a long time. Anyway best continue shitting my pants and then get back to playing the game. |

I honestly don't notice a difference, it still looks pretty sharp in performance mode and the fact that the game defaults to 60fps tells me everything I need to know. |

OK 8 hrs in so far and all I can say is that this remake is fecking awesome. I am playing on hard difficulty and it's certainly ramped up now. Never frustrating though.
Also only on chapter 6, I swear I am playing this more slowly than I ever have before.
I don't find the darkness too bad, in fact i think it looks very good. Although I play with all the lights off and only at night. Do you lot dim the lights when you play, or do you play in a bright room with a spare pair of pants beside you? |
