Casino Royale for me, saw it in Hawaii and the crowd cheering when he punched that guy in the black and white but was good. Not usually a fan of the crowd making noise but that was an exception. I've never been a fan of American cinema crowds. I remember watching independence Day as a kid in America and everyone was shouting USA!

QoS was Alien 3. Started shooting with half a script, and the writers strike made sure they never finished it. They had no director, half a script, a writer's strike, and they knew that after the writer's strike there would be an actor's strike coming. So they pretty much said now or never. Considering the circumstances it could have been much worse. I liked the opening taking place minutes after the conclusion of the first, but that's pretty much it.

Yeah it was just rushed out, and full of continuity errors and stuff, and just generally not good or interesting. None worse that in an interrogation scene M is quite clearly shot, and it is never mentioned again.

No Time To Die gets a thumbs up from me, much better than Spectre. Spoilerphobes should probably see it sooner rather than later.
More OHMSS nods than I expected from a modern film too.

Saw this this afternoon, thought it was incredibly weak. Craig can't be arsed, there's almost no decent action scenes of note, Rami Malek is a piss poor villain and is given almost nothing to do/work with and the DONT TELL SECRETS ending carries almost no weight.
It's worse than Spectre, which at least had some decent action and moodiness.
Fukunaga was the wrong choice for this, most of the film is dour and butt-ugly. there's a couple of nice shots but nothing like Skyfall's stylishness. The script absolutely sucks too, I can't think of any decent lines. And the whole thing draaaags on far too long.
I think I honestly preferred QoS to this. It's weak sauce. The most exciting bit was when they rolled out the Living Daylights Aston.
A generous 5 out of ten.

OK, some spoilered thoughts, don't click if you haven't seen it: I thought it was great they dared to kill Bond off, and in an unambiguous way as well, so no "he survived that missile strike after all" to bring Craig back in a few years. It was a fitting end, it made sense that he had nothing left to live for after the only thing he found worth living for after all the pain and misery was taken away from him. It also nicely bookends the line from Casino Royale about double-0s having a short life expectancy.
Rami Malek was on screen for, what, 15 minutes (not counting the opening)? But the whole island atmosphere with the rock garden, the Japanese interiors, and his clothes was wonderfully weird.

The Japanese stuff for Malek just seemed like a weak nod to Dr No, which I would've avoided, if I were them.

I've never had any desire to see a Bond film in the cinema and haven't rated them since Moore, sure I know that Moore's Bond was frankly an embarrassment but I just don't care for the later ones. Perhaps whoever's next as Bond will sway me, I was quite favouring Idris Elba but I've gone off him and clearly that will never happen, my eldest expressed an interest in seeing this one in the cinema but with that runtime it can do one.

Seems a lot of hype for this one, more than usual. The only one of Craig’s I’ve really enjoyed was Casino Royale. However that’s countered with Skyfall, which is the only one I really detested - complete and utter, borderline offensively bad, garbage
The other two were both ‘ok’ and I expect this will be about the same

It came out here today, and today is cheap cinema day (1st of the month) so I was gonna go and see it. (Seen every Bond in the cinema since Goldeneye... even the crappy ones).
But then it turned out my wife was getting her second shot today, the school had a day off for some random local holiday so the kids were home, and there was a typhoon. Grrr. It's almost as if someone doesn't want me to see it...

It's interesting just how polarising Skyfall is.
Seems it's either well-regarded or loathed. (Firmly in the former camp).

Saw this today. Don't click if there's any possibility of you watching the film anytime soon. I haven't seen all the Craig-era films, just CR and Skyfall, and I think that put me at a disadvantage. Up to the end of the Brosnan run, Bond films were broadly standalone affairs, whereas this set of five seem to have meta-story. The plot was a bit rambling, and unneccesarily complex. There was a lot of talk about fathers early on with insufficient background. I spent the first half hour or so thinking Madeleine was Blofeld's daughter. And on the subject of plot, what was Saffin's aim? He'd clearly spent millions on a plan to do what? Kill a lot of people just because he could? Oh, and Blofeld. Pretty sure that Roger Moore dropped him down a chimney in the early 80's. When did he reappear? And he was the country's most vital asset, monitored night and day, but no-one noticed that he had a bionic eye, and was sitting in his cell addressing a Spectre convention. Talking of reanimating the dead, didn't Felix Leiter die in the Dalton era? Some excellent sequences, but not much sense of a coherent story. Felt more like a showreel of separate pieces rather than one film. The agent in Cuba went from being nervous and clumsy to a butt-kicking badass in about 2 mins. Was that for comedic effect, or did Ms Waller-Bridge come in part way through shooting and say 'This woman needs to be empowered!'. You don't just develop a weapon like Heracles without someone, somewhere saying 'Hang on. What if this falls into the wrong hands?' But apparently that never once occurred to M. Really? And the end... There's no way he's walking away from that, and yet they went with a post-credits 'James Bond will return', as opposed to '007 will return'. Will be intrigued to see how they dig themselves out of that hole.
I give it 5.5 / 10 Mrs Boo liked it a bit more - 7.5 / 10

Leiter didn't die in Licence to Kill, he just got very badly maimed by a shark.

Just got back from having seen it and I thought it was very good. If you haven't seen all of the other Daniel Craig Bond films them it would be a far less good story, but as a part 5 of 5 it really ticks all the boxes. No spoilers but I found the climatic two locations very gripping as the stakes for Bond could not be any higher. I would agree with others that it doesn't quite top Casino Royale and Skyfall (if you like the latter of course), but is definitely an improvement over the other two.

booBig spoilers for anyone that hasn't seen it. They don't have to dig out of any hole as they will just be doing a new set of Bond films. Similar when a new Batman actor gets his set of films.

It is the only time I think I ever liked it, there might have been a small cheer on endgame which was good but I can’t remember. I might have gone when the cinema was almost empty.

When I watched Goldeneye in the cinema, there was a large cheer when the Bond Rifle View (tm) started, and I think after the plane dive too. We had been waiting a *long* time for a bond movie by that point though.
I remember Phantom Menace getting a big cheer for the Lucasfilm Logo and the STAR WARS title.. but again, people had been waiting a long time.
Both in the UK btw.
