I published a recording of my modded Dragon Age: Inquisition. Mod list in video description. Spoilers for Cole's personal quest, should you wish to avoid.
I don't have a dedicated capture card, I used the recording facility of GeForce Experience. HD version still processing right now, 1440p version should be up in a while.

And that's it for Control, a tremendously weird game in some ways, a fairly familiar one in some others. Happy as I was to follow the story to its end, I eventually contemplated dropping it due to the one-two punch of its checkpoint system and sharp difficulty spikes; thankfully, Remedy realized their error and added a cheat mode for just this purpose.
All in all, highly recommended (both playing the game and cheating at it).

Guild Wars 2, last batch of screens from the first expansion.
Tangled Depths. This map is very aptly named and it took me a good while to even get a grasp of the layout. Glad I did things in order (sort of) and didn't have mounts the first time I got here because they trivialise a lot of the challenges in getting around the place.
Dragon's Stand. Mostly a "meta event" map and beyond that there isn't much to do here beyond some exploration, so it's the one I've spent the least time in.
The events are pretty cool though, with everyone on the map (up to 150 people I think) splitting into three teams and pushing separate paths and then converging for a ludicrously big dragon fight at the end.

Purely aesthetically speaking I'd say I like the Cabbalist gear the most.
When I get the choice I will play first person. However, the shot below shows why I ended up with third person. And these claws aren't even that bad in comparison to some of the other foci.

I don't feel the customization system was really necessary, but I suppose the amount of possible variation took precedence over the lore. |

They could have done customization without using current tech. My problem with it is, that it removes the fantasy aspect for me, because I'm so used to seeing those things in real life.
But I guess they did it to cater to the Call of Duty crowd.

But I guess they did it to cater to the Call of Duty crowd. And to the "Far Cry crowd" and probably many, many other games. Probably half of them by Ubisoft. Unfortunately there are quite a few pointless possibilies for customization. For example spread with the slow Pious Legacy-shotgun seems completely ineffective. Same for the double barrel. It might be more useful on the faster Doghammer which has a bigger magazin, but even then unprotected enemies die so easily that it's a disadvantage most of the time. Similar case with the Long Las. You can theoretically build it into a quasi-assault rifle, but it just ends up firing not quite as slowly and does barely more damage than an assault rifle anymore. And the possibility to upgrade to a 40- and 80-shot magazine respectively just makes me scratch my head. It's more meaningful in other cases, but still, it would have been better if they had just decided on balancing them and providing a few ugprades for the weaker guns. Not that I care that much about balance, but everything should still recognizably have its own niche or at least a particular thing that it is better at than a related alternative. Even if it's just by degrees. |

I use imgur, but it might be crap on mobile, because some people here who tried to use it couldn't figure it out, apparently. On PC, you just have to rightclick the image after upload and choose "copy image address" and then paste that url into the forum's image url thingie box (it will only work if the url ends with the filetype, e.g. i.imgur.com/nEwdmBs.jpg). |
