No mention of how PSG couldn't beat some minnows with the 3 best players in the world up top. Did Messi not control the game like Carragher says he always does? Is Poch out of his depth? I assume their fans must want him out.

Bruges played really well and could have scored more. Losing Mbappe is going to be a concern for them.

They didn't even have a man sent off or a Lingard pass of doom.

Guardiola, manager of the champions of England last season, actually pleading for fans to turn up for their next home game on Saturday at 3pm. I know the date and time because Guardiola had to specify it. I think they’ve scored at least 5 goals for 4 games in a row at home, and still can’t sell out 60k after a year without fans. Absolutely embarrassing support.

Really shite from us the other night but it was so much fun to be back at a game. Friendly atmosphere around the ground and their fans were top notch the whole way through. Was odd seeing so many United jerseys in the home end but it drove home how big an occasion it was for them.
Decent away crowd there too considering they only confirmed we had tickets 6 days before the game.

I enjoyed one French newspaper’s contextualisation of City’s absences on Wednesday night 🤣

Cheeky poached goal from Salah from a poor palm away by Porto's goalie and defender dallying around.
Will do.

How City didn't equalize there I'm not quite sure.

As an aside: still can't believe PSG got Donnarumma on a free. Milan fans must be fucking raging.

PSG defending with Neymar and Mbappe in their own box. Really embarrassing. But they'll maybe win because City are determined to cross balls to Sterling against a 7 foot keeper for 90 minutes.

De Bruyne with an awful challenge. Should have been sent off.

Oooff Porto goalkeeper having a mare. 2-0 for halftime. Dominated that half.

De Bruyne with an awful challenge. Should have been sent off. I imagine in the Prem it would have been a red, because the refs think they're celebrities. The guy wasn't even hurt from the looks of things. Looked bad though.

Feel PSG are surprisingly sloppy given their squad. Some really basic errors all over the pitch. Doesn't really look like a Poch approach either. Strange.

They look awful. Neymar, Mbappe and Messi all look like Championship players.
No goalscorers in this city team though.

I get the feeling that Mbappe would rather be playing at Madrid and Messi at Barcelona.
Although, looking at the Madrid game now I wonder which team sucks more...

What a goal
Most I’ve celebrated a Messi goal since his little dink against Bayern years ago.

Amazing finish by Messi. City unlucky, though; they've definitely been worth at least a goal.

I think PSG have been quietly impressive. Their defence hasn't looked hugely troubled given all of Citeh's possession. PSG have largely kept them at arms length.
