Scarcity killed it for me, the cost and risk to make isk to fly fun stuff that matched my SP just wasn't worth the effort.
I have a feeling pretty much all my shit will be in asset safety as TEST implode.

The last gaming PC I owned was an xp1800 based machine with a 9800XT (in its final form). When I log in from my laptop now it takes about 40 minutes for the 3 screenshots to confuse me too.
Which is shame because 238M SP and can fly pretty much everything. Just very, very badly.

I dread to think how long its been since I last logged in.
It's definitely the game with my fondest memories, FC'ing small fleets, having ad-hoc adventures every time I logged in and giving larger and more experienced entities bloody noses frequently were all tonnes of fun.
Reading about the game nowadays it seems like a zombie shambling forward with barely any development, full of bots and awash with so much isk and industry there's barely any risk for anyone. But what more can you expect from an 18(!) year old game.
