I’ve also never seen Love Actually, part of me is tempted even though I would detest it as I have no tolerance for cheesy romcoms.

What if it was a rom com where the leads are stalkers, sexpests or abusing their positions of power?

I've not really seen any Batman movie after Begins, and even then that took 3 tries before I maybe saw the whole thing in one sitting. I never properly finished The Dark Knight and not bothered with any of it since.

I've only seen the first Rocky. Hated it so much that I never bothered with any of the sequels.

Jaws, Scarface, Rambo, Rocky. Come to think of it I reckon the only Stallone movie I've seen is Judge Dredd.

The sequels never quite match that, but are still entertaining imo. I remember going to see Rocky IV in the cinema, it was great. Entire place cheering like it was a real fight. Funny as.

Dougs exactly the same when I watched Rocky IV. It was unbelievable, the queue was round the back of the cinema and people, like you said, were almost treating it like a real boxing match Even though it was 35 years ago I still remember it like yesterday. The Apollo Creed & James Brown ring entrance. Honestly it was electric Going the cinema was a bit different back then. I remember Batman (1989) being a bit out there too, people screaming and shouting with excitement - strange times

I've probably only seen a cumulative 20 minutes of all Harry Potter films. And that 20 minutes will be down to ITV having them on rotation constantly.

Huh weirdly looking at the trailer, the image of Stallone as a straight guy with glasses is triggering some very vague deja vu from my childhood so I may have seen it as a nipper...

I just realized I've never seen any of the Iron Eagle movies. I've seen a tiny bit of one of them but was ages ago.

Yes, I'm quite shocked that you've never seen a film that I just had to Google as I've never heard of it.

I never properly finished The Dark Knight and not bothered with any of it since. I've seen all the Nolan ones and, I think, all the ones after. I've not seen any of the 90s/80s ones though, including the Burton films. I've definitely seen bits of both The Movie and Returns, but not seen them all the way through. Been tempted a few times to get the 4k boxset of all those, but keep bulking at paying £50 for 2 good films and 2 supposedly terrible ones. I should probably just get them in regular blu for less than 3rd of the price, but I want my crappy films in shiny 4k damn it!

Keep an eye on iTunes/Apple TV, they are often on offer there. Not as good as a disk but pretty close.

Returns is easily the best. The Nolan ones have their moments, but as they age it's apparent they suffer from Nolanitis.
FWIW I am not a Batman fan, so YMMV.

Never seen a James Bond flick. Never seen a Batman flick. Never seen the Jaws or any other shark flicks. Never seen a Mission Impossible flick. Never seen a flick starring Bruce Lee or any other karate flick. None of the above appeals, simple as that.

Not having *ever* seen a Bond movie ever either means you didn't grow up in the UK or you didn't have a TV growing up. That stuff was on constant rotation.

You haven't lived until you've seen Sean Connery judo throw a lesbian 20 feet into a pile of hay.

Yeah. Bond has been on a Sunday afternoon ITV slot for most of the past 20-30 years. It's hard to have missed it.

I haven't seen the Mission Impossible films. By and large, I tend to avoid Mr Cruise. I've seen things like Minority Report on flights, but otherwise I wouldn't seek out his films.
I've seen all the rest though.
Well, not all the kung fu films, but you know.

Yes the guy is a nutter, and fuck Scientology. But the Mission: Impossible movies in particular are pretty consistently great, and that's in no small part to how much of a nutter he is. I'm sure I've mentioned this before, but this isn't a CG knife!

And watch the behind the scenes stuff to see how terrified Dougray Scott was filming that.
You can hate Tom Cruise, but the later MI films are perfect entertainment and endlessly rewatchable.

So this guy has written an article on why Dredd deserves more respect based on the fact he personally had never heard of it. I mean, yes it deserves more but its not like it wasn’t a well received movie at the time (critically at least) www.wired.com/story/alex-garland-revisiting-dredd/A 3D only initial cinema launch was box office suicide though. Even at the height of the gimmick being pushed as hard as it was back then.
