They're all on sale aren't they? Standard: £27.99 Deluxe: £29.99 - includes shitty weapon pack. Gold: £37.99 - includes season pass. Ultimate: £91.99 - incudes shitty weapon pack and season pass. Gold is the way to go. On the Xbox store there isn't even a listing for the standard version. It just says "this version is currently unavailable". Odd.... I wonder if it's because I had previously played a 5hr trial of it.

If I can get it for that, I'll pick that up along with Alan Wake 2 (where deluxe edition is on sale, but the standard definitely isn't).
Got £40 of reward points so if I can get both games for equivalent of £20 of my own money that seems decent.

Got both. AW2 deluxe and Avatar standard.
With these two plus Black Ops, Indiana Jones, Stalker 2 and Flight Sim 2024 I'm pretty sorted for yuletide gaming. Other than my Xbox storage, which is in tears. May ask Santa for a 1tb extension card and give my kid my old 512mb one.
(Series X, with the 512gb official storage card, a 2tb external USB drive and a 1tb external SSD drive... And everything is pretty much full.)

The price tag of the 512GB expansion makes me cry. For the price of that and a Series S, you could just buy a Series X.
That said, I don't use my console much, and mostly for backward compatibility, so the regular Series S with an external 256GB M2 has been enough for me.
