Yeah might as well give Mikey a go. The rest of them have zero confidence anyway.

I’ve not seen us this bad in a long long time.

That high defensive line is so easy to get past, just a punt from the keeper. I really don't understand it.

To be positive for a brief second, Archie looks great.

I’m an Ange believer but this is shocking. How Werner is still on the pitch I have no idea.

Deserved goal for Coventry. Sarr and Bentancur have been awful this match. Both so slow on the ball and giving it away too easily. Gray and Bergval have been two best Spurs players.

I think we have to keep the faith. Ange may need to adapt a bit though. His commitment to his principles is admirable, but with all due respect, PL is a different level to SPL.

He’s used to being a big Ange in a small pond. If he’s unwilling to adapt then it’s us, the fans, that suffer.

I said before this was a big game for Ange. To go out to a lower league team in the easiest competition to win is a big blow to his so called winning mentality.
We really should be 3-0 down.

Harsh on Coventry, but I’ll take it.

Cracks papered over, then? (I'm only following the score)

We are better when the plan goes out the window.
Undeserved.

Totally undeserved but hopefully a wake up call. Far too laboured in possession yet again

I don’t think any cracks are papered. They’ve been clear for a while. I just hope Ange knows how to fix it.

You know it’s not good when your manager looks apologetic at the final whistle.

Those could be two big goals for Ange. Need to follow that up with a win at the weekend to build some confidence.

We are better when the plan goes out the window. Undeserved. 100%. We scored from 2 balls in behind to run onto which isn’t really Ange ball. We pin teams to far back for most of the game and it’s doesn’t leave much room

Happy for Johnson after the shit he got online after the Derby. Some have to take it too far.

Yeah I hope that gives him a bit of confidence.
I get why Ange made the changes, but he probably made one or two too many. Maddison and especially Kulu made a big difference when they came on.

It’s weird seeing Johnson play with such an obvious lack of confidence, and yeah the comments above are bang on - he’s much better with space to get in behind defences. Makes you wonder why Ange wanted him if he’s going to be so rigid in not playing like that.

The way Ange wants to pass through the middle it almost feels like he should put Johnson up front. Guy will be able to get through most defences with ease if the mid field provide the pass. With games like this I would rather us start strong and get a nice lead then bring on the young talent.

I think there is a balance, and Ange went too far with the changes. The problem in these situations is if you start strong and you are still struggling, you can't bring the young guys / squad players on anyway. Then the first team guys don't get a rest and the others don't get game time.

I know why circumstances have combined to mean that we have to pick Saka but it still seems insane. Do we really not have one more academy kid who can play? Doesn't even have to be good, just give the poor bloke a rest.
