Ultimately though, it just seems a bit of a pointless argument. But if I was to add anything because I may as well as we are discussing it, you could say that the combination of the aesthetics, the title cards, the 3rd person gameplay with added gimmicks, the mash-up of live action, the cinematic chaptering style and the voice-overs all meld together to create something distinctly Remedy, that they do time and time again in their games, and I could also then ask you to point me to another studio that regularly produces games with the same combination of the above.

None that I can think of. I don't mean other studios have a similar style to Remedy, their style is distinct and unique. But there are loads of studios who have distinctive, noticable elements that run through all their games
When you look at an Arkane game, it feels like one. From's games all share a style. Bethesda games are all shit, Ubisoft bland, etc
Not all styles are created equal. But there are plenty of devs whose games conform to a specific set of features/qualities

Yes I would argue a house style is probably more common that not. It’s also much more noticeable and distinctive in some cases.
I feel like everyone is more or less saying the same thing tbh.

No real spoiler but at the end of the first chapter I thought it was utterly bizarre how chill the characters were. The dialogue was delivered like they were just choosing their Tesco meal deals.

You mean after a dead man gets up, kills some police officers and disappears. It's like no one else gives a shit. Maybe nobody liked them. I went out to the front of the station and it's like nothing happened. Hilarious. |

I haven't seen anything about what the resolution is, I imagine it must be close to an upscaled 720p if the performance mode on PS5 is an upscaled 847p. |

So far no issues and I'm playing is quality mode..seems a pretty solid FPS so far. It's more of a thriller/detective/tense drama rather than an action game so a perfect 60fps I don't think is needed. It's visually stunning and I haven't noticed any obvious drops in quality mode. |

Haven't started it myself but my brother messaged me earlier saying he's also getting audio drop out issues on Series X. Think it's sorted itself now mind you, but the beginning of the game (particularly the opening cinematic) seems doubly prone to it.
