I'm going to start again with a new character, don't think I'll be able to get Guile into Diamond.
Trying to decide between Chunners and Ryu. Though I haven't really played anyone else so maybe I'll be a Ken scrub or a Honda nuisance.

I played an amazing Jamie, such long combo chains. I think Ryu and Jamie will be a nice change.

Jamie is up there with Kimberly as the supposedly low-tier characters that take me to the cleaners. Only good players seem to play them and I dont meet them enough to be fully aware of their gimmicks*
*although I am getting better at swatting kimberly out of the air

I am crap with him but was having fun. When I took him into ranked, the game decided I was 3 star Platinum with him! I now cannot enjoy using him in ranked at all. I am silver at best with him. The game has essentially made it so I cannot enjoy playing him in ranked at all now.

Tried a bit of practice. That there redone drive rush is pretty sweet, also nice that it lets you know what combos from it.

Oh. Well that's not good. At the least I'm very impressed how quick on the ball they are with getting these bugs squashed but tbf this game released in a relatively polished state compared to the absolute dross that released as a "finished product" these days.

The flipside is that it was bold to the point of hubris to assume they could push out a fairly major update a few days before evo and have nothing shit the bed.

Yeah that was really quick.
The JP bug was hilarious but also very situational. Good on them for fixing it so quickly.
I now look forward to Tokido winning Evo using some broken option select which stems from the DR changes.
