Apologies, Nick. I forgot that the rooms were not like BH where you could queue for a match. I've barely played room matches, especially with more than one person present, I assumed you were spectating. I do wish there were a setting to make it winner-stays-on like the HDR and IV lobbies. They were a lot of fun with a few lads involved. With no voice chat and no way to see the text chat when ingame it makes it a bit of a pain. No worries, I was pressed for time, too, and went one game more than I should have! And, yeah, the rooms are odd. Most of the online choices are a bit weird, tbh. It’s lucky the actual thing that counts, the netcode, works. That said, I do like battlehub. I think that works really well for just bumbling around and playing randoms. I think Battlehub is great, but it can get annoying when you find a similarly skilled opponent and have a couple of decent matches only for you or the guy you're fighting to be booted to make way for a 2-bar Ken. |

I think Battlehub is great, but it can get annoying when you find a similarly skilled opponent and have a couple of decent matches only for you or the guy you're fighting to be booted to make way for a 2-bar Ken. I’m half thinking about spending some time in training after watching shuto tear someone up with modern Marisa. But it’s just completely alien to me, I don’t think my brain could cope. I haven’t even looked at the price of the dlc.
Interestingly, at the developer panel they mentioned that the reason for Marisa being in a wedding outfit will be revealed in WT, so Capcom are clearly intent on continuing to update it after launch - another indicator of the effort they continue to put into SF6.
(Also I should probably look into WT mode properly at some point)

I keep meaning to play WT more but it is, frankly, rubbish. Actually, tbf, it’s more of a pain in the arse. Having to constantly go back and forth everywhere, go back to your house to change to night time, the enemies having absolutely ludicrous amounts of health. I just can’t be arsed with it.

Yeah, I saw. I always liked Garou so it was cool to see the sequel actually being a thing, looks similar to KOF but more visually pleasing.

I've liked the FF series since the 2nd one, but thought the 1st one was a bit pap. It'd be interesting if they retained the faux 3d stages of the earlier games to seperate it from KoF. It'll probably not find an audience even if it's excellent, unfortunately. It's a niche game in a fairly niche genre. |

Im not mad about that. I mained him for a while on SF5 because I really like the way he played, it was just a shame he absolutely fucking sucked, so I dropped him (and the game in general, tbh)

That was my favourite super. I did really like fang but they were so worried about the poison being overpowered that they absolutely gimped everything else about him and never un-gimped it.
You'd put in a hard shift for like half a round, play perfectly, keep them on the ropes, keep chipping away and then they pull ahead with one uppercut. And, like a lot of the cast, he badly suffered from the v-system. Both of his v-skills were pretty bad and his v-triggers were basically worthless.
I remember playing Wesley off Eurogamer and doing pretty well against his Birdie. Then he hit me with an ex-jumpy jump and killed me.

Admittedly, I am completely out of practice with a stick but I play 100% on the PS5 pad now becaue the d-pad is excellent. Easier might be a bit strong but I do think its more or less as viable as a stick, especially with having a button for DI and parry now.
Its a lot more fatiguing on the old thumb which does lead to a fair few dropped inputs in longer sessions but, on the whole, I dont think my game has suffered for the switch.
I do really want to get a hitbox, tho.

Crossover Turtles content now live, via the in-game shop or the Battle Hub. Cosmetics (full Turtle costumes or bandanas) are all for Fight points, sadly. Not purchasable with either Drive Points or Kudos.
There's three sentences that ought never to exist.

I mean, its fine. Capcom gotta eat and its 'only' lobby cosmetics but ive never felt good about being charged for promotional items for other things, not that I buy anything anyway, but still.
It is annoying to be 'gifted' tickets but them being functionally useless because you cant buy anything without the premium currency. I'd rather not have them at all.
