Tried out the Pico Interactive collection on Evercade over the weekend. My god there's some shite on there. 8-Eyes might be one of the worst games I've ever played. Ordered the Founder's Edition VS - looking forward to that, some great games on the four arcade collections included.

Oh I missed this week's Arcade Archive game - Kuri Kinton. Looks a bit Kung-Fu Master-ish, will pick up later.

Damn, that's impressive. I am massively lazy, so I'll wait for them to pop up on eBay pre-loaded. Currently use a Wii U, which is good pre N64.
Wonder what we're getting on Arcade Archives this week? I know Liquid Kids is due soon, that's brilliant. Hopefully leading to more Taito, can't call it Archives without New Zealand Story and Rainbow Islands.

My god! I did a forum search and it worked! The mind boggles.
Anyway, I just bought a Game and Watch Mickey & Donald game. It was such a nice experience playing it. Even the kids liked it. I think Mickey & Donald is one of the better games. The old ones are way to simplistic nowadays, but M&D has a few things going on at once and some actual risk reward mechanics.
I bought a banged up version with scratches and stuff so I got it for 40β¬ which I think it was well worth. Now I'm worried I'll slide into collecting these things. Would love a nice copy of Donkey Kong Jr.

I got Bitmap Book's ZX Spectrum book for my brother's 50th birthday there. I heard about it from someone on here - whoever you are, thanks!
I would recommend it. Major nostalgia trip just looking through the game images and the articles are really good too.

Yep, it's impressive to see. Just plop the batteries in and off it goes. I'm now thinking about getting the Zelda anniversary one. At least one good game on it and those looks. They're so damn cool.

This week's AA is one I've genuinely never heard of before - Vandyke by UPL. Top down hack & slash, looks like a fantasy Ikari 3. I find UPL games oddly charming jank - bar Omega Fighter which is genuinely brilliant - so I'll probably bite.
Still hoping for another pack for the Capcom Arcade Stadium. Anyone else play Ghosts 'n' Goblins Resurrection? Fuck, it's hard.

Last night I was playing the space invaders Infinite connection (via switch emulation) I also slapped the snes on and played some Tetris attack.

It's easy enough, just a case of finding the bios for them.
Final fight is a great one. And Snatcher.

Nice! I've only briefly played that, but it's coming to Evercade on the Renovation Collection early next year - a really good line-up that one.

One of my favourite retro gaming YouTube channels is RMCretro, two really nice English guys with a passion for 80s home computers. Not as console focused as other channels.
Here's their latest video where they max out an Atari ST with a massive 4mb of RAM and a modern SD card hard drive. All the while trying not to mention the Amiga every 5 seconds:

I have just found a couple of 'Hunter' posters from Activision while rummaging in the loft. I remember loving the game on Amiga but have no idea why I would have wanted 2 posters for it.
Free to a good home if anyone wanted them, you fucking weirdos.

Espgaluda 2 out for Switch next week. Be picking this up, even though I found it so bloody difficult I never saw past the third level on X360.

USAAF Mustang out on ACA today. Looks nice, though I've always found something slightly 'off' about every NMK game I've played up to now. I'll forgive them if Thunder Dragon 2 and Gunnail make it over though.

I am indeed a fanny, but no, mine is the vertical (Gameboy esque design) his is the standard handheld orientation.
Mine has a lovely wooden sheen to it.

They're a mix of US and EU - at the time the DS was handheld top-dog, my job took me to the US a lot. The DS is region free, but I know the region can affect the value of retro games. 999 Nine Hours Nime Persons Nine Doors (US) Advance Wars: Dual Strike (EU) Aliens: Infestation (EU) Chrono Trigger (US) Final Fantasy III (US) Final Fantasy IV (US) Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings (US) Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Rings of Fates (US) Dragon Quest XI (US) Kingdom Hearts: Re:coded (US) Pokemon White (EU) Scribblenauts (EU) Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor (US) The World Ends With You (EU) Hello. Did you end up selling everything? If not, I may be interested in a few games.

'Pop Flamer' on this weeks ACA. Never come across this before, but most Jaleco games are pretty wonky, Cybattler and Rodland aside. Hmmm.

Really want to upgrade my scalar to the new Retrotink 5x but it sells out in seconds and is no longer the budget option by any stretch of the imagination

I'm going to set some time aside for installing Duckstation on my Mac, I do still enjoy quite a lot of PS1 games. I wish there was something similar for the N64, the platform that really needs an emulator with an overclock option. Besides a few rare titles with 2D or simpler visuals everything on the N64 struggles to maintain a remotely playable frame rate.
