Just go under the assumption that everything is a Mimic, and you'll be fine. That is exactly what is stressing me out (see pussy reference)

have you been to lab to restart the LGV server. Make sure you watch the 2 videos, awesome little secret LG..what, I guess that means a no, such a good game though, went outside... that was cool if you've been outside, it was to get the keycard for room i'm referencing. You have to restore the looking glass video server. There are 2 test videos, make sure you watch them

Deathloop has made me reinstall Prey and Dishonored 2 (and also Death of the Outsider). I'm going to go back to Mooncrash as I started to really get into it before getting distracted with something, it's almost like a prototype Deathloop. I never finished DotO to my shame and I am also considering starting a stabby Emily run in D2. I'll not finish any of this of course but I'll piss about for a bit.
I'm still also playing Deathloop as it's quite amusing to invade as Juliana, although I am rubbish at it.

The Knife of Dunwall plus Death of the Outsider are almost a game in and of themselves, arguably with more interesting protagonists and story arc. Dishonoured never seems to get brought up in diversity in games conversations despite having a disabled black gay woman in a lead role. Some of the best DLC I can think of

I think I stuck that on my wishlist way back, but never bothered with Prey like an idiot. Worth a pick up?

Yeah man I really enjoyed Mooncrash from what I played. The concept is that you need to get all your survivors out in one "loop" as it were, and whatever your first survivor uses for example, is gone for future survivors, as well as enemies of increasing difficulty etc. Oh, and only one evac method can be used per survivor as well.

Nice, tend to bounce off Roguelikes pretty hard, but at £16 it might be palatable

Your tolerance will depend on your love of the main game and the way it plays mind you.

left 4 Dead 2. Recently played some user made maps, and I'm blown away by the quality. Just played the Yama mapset and they're absolutely incredible.

Recently came off a huge stardew Valley binge and then started FF IVX. I tried craftopia for about 20 minutes the other day but I've honestly never bounced off of a game so hard in my life.

Started Battle Chasers Nightwar ( I know it’s an existing comic but it’s not a great name for a video game) yesterday and liking the first couple of hours I have spent with it. Seems like a traditional Jrpg mixed with a Diablo esq dungeon exploring. The way the story is being presented combined with the voice acting has drawn me in. Looks great too.

All this talk of Prey and then reading an article about Mooncrash has prompted me to install the game and grab the DLC. Seems like a good evening game now that the nights are drawing in a bit... (was thinking of going for Dead Space instead, but might as well just wait for the remake) Of course the sensible thing to do would be to try playing Prey again and then buy the DLC if I get on with it, but hey ho... Will be good to play something on my neglected PC for once (WFH kind of ruined PC gaming for me)
Kena - caved in and bought this one after the glowing reviews, so will start it tonight.
Destiny 2 - pretty much done with the season already and just dipping in every week and doing a half-arsed attempt at getting to the pinnacle cap. Have started playing legend lost sectors after avoiding them for ages which has freshened it up a little.

Of course the sensible thing to do would be to try playing Prey again and then buy the DLC if I get on with it, but hey ho... Mooncrash is a very good game and can be played standalone just fine. It has, imo, far better pacing then the main game as well. If you find you don't get on with the base game, I do encourage you to try Mooncrash still.

I've restarted NFS Hot Pursuit remastered but on PC with an Xbox controller, the analogue trigger makes all the difference and I'm enjoying it now and cornering much faster. The frame rate is also much better. It really has that "one more race" feeling and playing as a cop I really like the hot pursuits.

Donkey Kong Country (Snes)
Very quick game to get into, still has a lovely atmosphere and stellar soundtrack. Apparently I suck at platforming!
Life is Strange (PS4)
Looks interesting but have yet to get beyond first impressions.

The Donkey Kong Country games are hard. They're a step up compared to the Mario games. Even more so if you're collecting all the letters and puzzle pieces.
If you're struggling with the old DKC games, try Returns or Tropical Freeze. The level design and general control is much better. They are both a big improvement on the originals.

Tried the FIFA 22 GPU/EA Play trial for an hour or so.
Quite a weird intro (I chose the 'FIFA noob' entry path). I did like the Cantona cameo though!

I have Tropical Freeze on Wii U but only played through the first world. It did seem excellent though. I’m going to run through 1 and 2 on Snes, skip 3 and Returns, and then play through TF properly.

Apex legends. Still. Being old and slow, I have to use guile and cunning to get my kills, like some kind of geriatric angler fish.

Grabbed Stygian: Reign of the Old Ones for real cheap off GOG. Seemed interesting at first, but then I entered the bank and got into a fight with 6 lunatics. Their thrown stones did more damage than my revolver shots, so...uninstalled.

Definitely sounds interesting... I wasn't under the impression that it was supposed to be hardcore or something like that.

Cyberpunk 2077 (series X)
Apart from a few animation glitches eg bodies flop about after dying and Jackie walked into elevator and slightly fell into the floor for a second and then was fine. I am enjoying it, shame it was the management that fucked over the game and the devs by telling them for it to run on old hardware. Just rescued a character in the main story
