Very excited to start the season with a historic win at Old Trafford.

For a brief (wonderful) moment I thought there might not be any Arsenal fans.
So, Brentford then?

Not Premier League, but probably the biggest news of the off-season.
Now that's proper football.

Brentford is just up the road from me, might have a look this evening to see if it's buzzing...

Excited to see how the newly promoted sides get on, intrigued by Benitez at Everton, interested in seeing if Jack can make it at City and I'm curious to see how my team Manchester United navigate the higher expectations after some big money moves. I'd be optimistic if some of the other big sides hadn't bought well also. One thing's for sure I can't wait for tonight's game.My money is on Brentford given that it's the first game with little to no pressure in contrast to Arsenal who are under constant scrutiny as they do their best Manchester United impression from 2013-2018

TBF I never thought I'd see Varane in a United shirt, cracker of a buy that one. Don't think we'll be far off, would of liked to see one more addition at least and about 5 outgoings. Leeds will do a number on us too.

Didn't realise it kicked off tonight. Is Tierney fit for Arsenal at the moment?

He's starting.
Arsenal putting a very young team out, Brentford could get at them tonight.

Excited for a new season!
Last year I predicted City to win with mid 80s points, this season I predict them to win it with 90ish points.
Great to start with a newly promoted team in Brentford, let's see what they have got...

Really hard to pick between Chelsea/Man City for the title. Man Utd should go close too, with the players they've added.
I'm expecting Arsenal to be broadly around the same level of shitness they were at last season. We'd do well to finish even a couple of places higher. COYG!

Probably the new season and no mourinho, but I’m feeling good about this season. Be happy with 5th/6th and a cup. On paper the ECL should be harder not to win (watch us go out in qualifying).

I reckon we are due a tight title race this year, not sure who will win but I can see the top 3, maybe four being seperated by about 4 points.

I'm hoping we can maintain CL status with a top 4 finish. Good to see VVD extending his stay - just hope he stays out of hospital this season.
Our pre-season has been patchy and pretty low key on the acquisitions front. Klopp seems happy but we'll see...
Certainly looks like the Manchester clubs are pushing for the top spots with open chequebook. Chelsea looking strong too. 4th will be an achievement I think!
