You can get it if chumps have it equipped and you kill them and extract it.

Had a passing interest in trying to convince a few friends to try the raid thing until I caught a bit of a stream where the players seemed to spend half the thing underwater(might be because they were all thick as fuck). I fucking hate water levels.

I read this Polygon article today, all about Warzone's DMZ mode. Downloaded it and had a blast this afternoon: not something I expected!

The AI needs it's damage or accuracy tuning a little bit. They need to either be hard hitting stromtroopers or weak hitting snipers. At the moment they are hard hitting snipers. The deadly AI needs to be contained to strongholds and major points of interest so you aren't getting all your armour stripped just for driving by in a car.

Have had some genuinely hilarious moments on proximity chat as well. Yesterday I sniped a player as he went into a doorway and his teammates got him up. It started a 5 minutes stand off with them declaring there were 6 of them in there and we said that's fine as we had 6 too (there were of us and 3 of them). I snuck round the back and killed one of them but my team mate didn't push the other entry so I died. They were genuinely excited to be able to get the loot I had so I was happy for them in a way. They were then scared to leave as I could still talk to them on prox chat and though there were loads waiting for them outside. They eventually snuck out the back and my teammate got me back up but couldn't find them on the way to the extraction.

I love dmz though and it's pretty much the only mode I play at the moment, I am on tier 3,3 and 1 at the moment if anyone fancies doing some quests. If you are lower I don't mind helping you out as well.

I’d like to play more of it but don’t have a group of people to play with so would be interested in joining a game or two!

Yeah Dmz and warzone are free to play, the only thing will be your insured weapon won't be easy to level up but you use them so little that it won't matter much. I would suggest using an rpk as they are very common ground loot and it will level up fast

Battlepass is usually about 45 minutes play per token (level), that's actual in game play time as opposed to menus.

Don't think they ever actually declared how it works officially but that's close enough.

Nooooo. Completed my objectives, secured the LZ, then got popped by human players trying to enter the chopper.

I love DMZ, it's my most played game of the last few weeks. I binned off FIFA during the World Cup as it's just taken a massive downturn.

I am on Xbox if you need any squad members. As Frog said, sneak around, use Suppressed weapons, get your loot/missions done, and get out again.

The shooting down helicopters at the airport one is taking me forever to do. Every time I go in with the sakin the fucking game spawns me on the other side of the map.

Hope the AI get some attention on the 15th to tone them down. Also they need to fix the spawns as there doesnt seem enough of them down the left hand side and centre of the map.

Keep leaving my extracts too late. Had one earlier and got caught in a PvP ruck as we needed to get out. Killed a player and he pleaded for help so I let him join. He sat on top of a budding giving his other teammate instructions as to where we were so got sniped every time we went near a window. Luckily he pushed and I managed to kill him after he killed my teammate.
That left us 1.6km from the extract we could possibly get to as the other 2 were written off. First car was so damaged it blew up the second it got shot, 2nd ran out of fuel so the last extract wasn't usable. Decided to just run from the gas and hope to make final extract, just about made it which was a relief as I had all 20 hdd's needed for quest in backpack.

Had a similar thing yesterday as well where we managed to do a hostage rescue to get out as we had no chance of making the exfil.

Must remember to leave a few minutes earlier.

Happens a lot when you pick people up apparently, I won't be doing it again. I shall be helping myself to their shit and flouncing off.

We use discord and it allows you set proximity chat to push to talk so you can hear it but not be heard unless you want to.

Yeah, you can't hurt team members at all. I would quite like it if it had friendly fire to be honest, would make pushing buildings quite tense.

The new Ashika island in DMZ (and Warzone Resurgence apparently) is a lot smaller than Al Mazrah. Seems much more likely you run into other squads, although I’m not sure if they’ve also reduced the number of players.

The AI enemies are still pretty tough too. I was hoping they’d balance it a bit more for solo players but it seems they haven’t, or maybe I’m just a bit rubbish. Still having fun in squads with randoms though.
