Haha, I've been on the recieving end of that once before. A mistake you quickly learn from!
Storm on turn 3 followed by juggernaut is a lovely play that I've just had used against me. I need to get that card unlocked asap as storm is one of my favourites in my upgrade deck.

I think Prof x is the only card that does? Everything else can be countered on last turn by Heindall/shang chi/electra/odin etc/cosmo/armour etx I do like that, occasionally you can see you have lost but very rarely can you be 100% sure you have won. |

White Tiger or Squirrel Girl + Kazar / Blue Marvel have saved me from losing lanes my opponent thought they’d won by blocking. Also very useful for Sanctum Sanctorum / Luke’s Bar or to counter Storm.

I love seeing Wong because Cosmo fucks him up and he is in my deck. What's even better is people don't seem to realise what Cosmo does so they still play the on reveal card on their Wong a lot of the time.
The Wong, White Tiger and Odin combo is pretty beefy if it goes off though.

I’m at the point where I just don’t have the cards to compete. I’m never going to get anywhere if I’m up against Death/Hell decks or Panther/TV face man when every card I unlock is along the usefulness of Yellowjacket. The matchmaking is just bullshit. The Winter variant bonus week is useless to me as well as I haven’t paid enough to unlock the collector reserves. It’s close to getting deleted.

Silver surfer is alright and you won't be missing out too much on not getting him. He will go into the pool of cards you can get after a while. Tbh I don't use any of the season pass cards, I just like to support the game as i think it's great.

Black Panther is in pool 5 now (but costs a lot of tokens), and Silver Surfer will eventually be added to the pools too. |

Eventually, pool 5 cards will move to pool 4 and pool 4 cards will move to pool 3 on a rotating basis. |

That’s the thing - I basically have variations on most of those decks - but there’s no getting around that as you progress some later card combinations are straight up overpowered. It’s horrifically imbalanced- which wouldn’t matter if the matchmaking was setting up players as it should but it’s just feeding lambs to wolves in my experience.

If you see a deck incoming that you know is going to beat you then retreat. This game is as much about knowing your own deck as well as knowing theirs.
A decent pool 2 deck will take you quite far to be honest, especially control or zoo based decks

99.9% of decks can be shut down with Armor, Cosmo or Enchantress which are cards everyone has. Obviously you don't want all three in your deck so you play the odds based on what you're running up against most. Cosmo should be an auto-include in every deck he shuts down so much.

Conversely, I’m now thinking of adding Killmonger to my deck because everyone seems to be playing Ebony Maw on the new Morag location, followed by Kazar, Blue Marvel, and… Ultron. Either that or I’ll bring Storm and Scarlet Witch. Unless there are other ways of working with the Morag rule (“You can’t play your first card here each turn”)?

Leech counters Death/Surfer/She-Hulk decks. Cosmo counters Hela/TV face man/Panther decks. 1 cube retreats counter seeing any of those decks and realizing you don't play any interactive cards good against them.

Cosmo down on Wong, Wong has ne real benefit its the follow up 'on reveals' that get you like white Tiger.
Enchantress down on patriot/mystique. I especially like to sucker them into thinking they've won and then drop it in the final act as a pretty sexy, 'fu'.
If you see loads of 1 costs go down then killmonger them off the board or handle kazaa/bluemarvel with enchantress

Decent patriot players put him down on turn 4-6 after they get Cosmo out though. Although having to get Cosmo out costs a lot of score in itself
