2 eps in and we're struggling to feel enthused to put Agatha on. It's the definition of "fine" so far with a dash of "bleh". Does it get better by ep 3? No. Its 'witch of the week' now and its hard to give a shit about any of them.

She was great as an occasional character in Wandavision but this feels so flat compared to that. I think this is what happens when you fast track a show into development because people online were fans of a character in a tv show in the short timescale it was popular and then completely forgot about said character.

Its fine but its slipping down my priority list fairly quickly.
I like that its mostly its own thing and doesn’t need a lot of homework to catch up on but it does kind of feel like its just “another one” in the lineage of Buffy, Sabrina, Charmed, Supernatural etc

I think it's flipping excellent and probably in my top five MCU shows, so you can all go poop off.

There have only been 11 haven't there? And that includes Secret Invasion and She-Hulk.

The first two eps were OK. It was a reasonably fun time. Now it seems to have settled into its format, its going to have to do better than shite like 'Witches Road Song (REMIX)' because that was really very poor.

Literally the only one I've watched is Moon Knight. And that was almost entirely because of having Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead as the showrunners.
That's not a point of pride or anything btw; I've enjoyed MCU things before. I've just never had any interest at all in the TV shows.

If we’re including the Netflix ones then Daredevil and Punisher walk it by a country mile for me.
For MCU I’d go some combination of Hawkeye, Falcon, Wandavision and Ms Marvel being my top tier. What If (s1) and She-Hulk in the middle; Loki, Moon Knight next; then Echo, What If (s2), and obviously Secret Invasion definitely last.
And if we want them to count Werewolf and GOTG are both top tier too.

Wandavision and Loki Series 1
Hawkeye, She-Hulk, Ms Marvel
Everything else I've either failed to finish or didn't bother starting.

There's just too many that have been either rubbish or mediocre now. It's a long time since the good Daredevil days, although they had issues.
I've realised I only have any interest in the A-tier characters now. There's just too much other non-marvel stuff to watch that's good to bother; it feels more like homework at times.

If we're not counting the Netflix shows, Agent Carter is the best MCU show by a mile.

Nah, Agents of Shield if you're really going into the weeds.
Out of the new crop, I genuinely enjoyed She Hulk the most. I'm not mad they made an easy to watch, half hour sitcom.

'Top Five Marvel Shows' is not a high bar WandaVision, Ms Marvel, and Loki are all five star series. Hawkeye, Moon Knight, and She Hulk were all excellent. The only ones that were disappointing were Falcon & Winter Soldier and Secret Invasion. But I've said it before: I utterly adore everything MCU. I just enjoy spending time in that world, it's my jam.

Not a dig, genuinely interested (as I say, I've only seen 2 eps and it's already treading water for me). It's consistently funny, all the characters/actors pop, it's got a great look, it's got a really fun, campy tone, and it has several intriguing mysteries at its heart. I thought the last episode was incredible. If it keeps up this quality it'll be my favourite show of the year.

Since they rebooted the Transformers comic, the MCU is pretty much the only new, ongoing thing that I really love, so 🤷

At least Aubrey Plaza seems to be enjoying herself.

That's good to hear, as Aubrey Plaza being in it is probably the main reason I'll watch it (sometime)

Huh, didn't realise she's in it, which shows how much I've been paying attention to anything Marvel... Might have to stick it on this evening in that case.

Weird how the only thing from The Eternals that's going to have any longer lasting effects is the giant dead alien they've been ignoring for years.
