Is it a criminal offence to post the same game twice if you played it twice through? Asking for a friend.

#1 - 02/01 - As Dusk Falls (Series X) #2 - 06/01 - Trails in the Sky Second Chapter (Steam Deck) #3 - 08/01 - High On Life (Series X) #4 - 12/01 - Pentiment (Series X) #5 - 15/01 - Citizen Sleeper (Steam Deck) #6 - 06/02 - Persona 3 Portable (PS4) #7 - 01/03 - Cyberpunk 2077 (PS5)
What a game! Massively enjoyed that. Got all endings and did a lot of side stuff, albeit not all of it but feel I got a lot out of it.
20 hours or so into Theatrhythm but gonna start Octopath Traveler 2 tonight which I'm really looking forward to. Off to Japan next Friday so will likely continue my Metroid Prime playthrough on the flights.

Metroid Dread: Hard Mode (Switch) 5/5 7. Lonely Mountains Downhill (Series X) 4/5 8. Fallout Shelter (Series X) 4/5
Right. Some cheeky additions there. Metroid Dread is so damn good its hard to not want to start over the minute the credits have rolled, so I did just that. I've also added Fallout Shelter on measurement of having every achievement except the dweller one, which is not reasonably achievable without spending a lot of money, so no thanks.
For now, I'm playing Goldeneye to keep me busy until Metroid Prime gets here. I'm also playing a co-op farm on Stardew Valley on Xbox, gradually trying to mop up achievements over the next few months.

5:Mafia remake (ps5) beat on 07/03/23. 8/10
I had already completed this on xbox a couple of years back but as it was on PSEssentials I fancied another go. Just as enjoyable, not perfect as I always thought and still think the gunplay could have been better but still a great remake.

"their words" The Redress of Mira is a dynamic adventure told in shifting first-person and third-person perspectives as you take the role of titular heroine Mira, exploring lovingly crafted medieval landscapes that appear lush and serene on the surface but hide a dark and dangerous world beneath.
my words. I did enjoy the story which is told by you finding books throughout the world, but the gameplay was very average, possibly just below average. It seems somewhat dated however Some of the landscapes were lookers, but character models and movement, especially climbing were sub par, puzzles could be frustrating (there were not that many) as they often had no context as to what to do, there is no hud, no map in the game . Would I recommend, maybe just.

Still an excellent FPS campaign. Tough, but not quite as tough as the original, thanks to the modernised controls. Now it's just Bioshock Infinite I've been sitting on.

1. Chaos;Head Noah (NSW) (3/1/23) (8.5/10) 2. Soul Hackers 2 (PS5) (20/1/23) (9/10) 2.1 Lost Numbers DLC 3. Resident Evil 2 (PS5) (30/01/23) (8/10) 4. Resident Evil: Nemesis (PS5) (31/1/23) (8/10) 5. Resident Evil HD Remake (PS4) (6/2/23) (8/10) 6. Ishin: Like a Dragon (PS5) (20/3/22) (8.5/10)
After 83 hours I have finished Ishin with all substories, friendships and Shinsengumi missions (including Amon), 83.43% Diligence Records (percentage complete listed as 67.782%) and 70% (47/56) trophies. Got a few very close trophies I could top up with quickly too.
Enjoyed this remake set in an interesting era of Japanese history. Graphics are decent enough for a remake of a PS4 launch title, voices and music are good. The story is interesting and told well in the usual Yakuza style melodrama.
Substories add some of the Yakuza silliness but don't feel quite as varied as in the mainline games. Plenty of mini-games, inc stalwarts like karaoke and the gambling and their own take on baseball... Combat isn't too bad bit on normal fan be a bit easy, and the gun is a bit silly in usage with no reloading pauses etc. The dungeon missions are a bit basic and repetitive but inoffensive enough that I finished them all. The Another Life mini game was fairly fun but for some reason I couldn't unlock the last bonding scene. Overall a good game in the series.
Just leaves me with Kenzan and Dead Souls to finish in the console spin offs. Next may play something like The Quarry for something shorter on PS5. Playing Loopers and Fire Emblem Engage on Switch. Still way behind schedule on this year's games.

29.5 hours, admittedly played Jake's and Chris' campaigns about 4-5 years ago and a bit of Leon's, but decided to finish the rest (plane level onwards). Jumping back in, particularly after playing 2 and 3 remakes recently was quite a shock. Graphics aren't too bad bit the controls feel a little clunky and the inventory system is dire enough that I never quite fully figured lut how to get rid of stuff successfully and use health items throughout.
Story was throwing everything at the storyboard and very mixed, and this is woth me saving the supposed hest campaigns to last. I liked the range of locales, but too many bosses were repeated. Played fully solo just like I did with 5 back in the day (may replay some time to play the Gold DLC as lost my saves and they aren't playable normally).
Leaves me 0 and CV as uncompleted entries (and one DLC in VII) in the series. Not bought Village yet either. Not sure what PC game to play through next.

Pretty good fun action-platformer, very forgiving in the jumping sections (as in if you fail you start right back at jump again) which is a massive plus in my book. Got through campaign in around 6 hours no replayability unless you want to search for resources.

Started and finished today as only 5 hours long (11/31 trophies, 31%). Enjoyed it and there were less 'I must kill off this annoying person!' characters than some other games in the series. Almost got through unscathed but lost one character in the final set of locations. The story was interesting and looked quite pretty (bar heavily macro-blocked FMV sequences that looked worse than in engine graphics for some reason). Not got the next two DPA games so may try The Quarry jext on PS Plus Premium.

And 2 evenings (8hrs 30) of play later I have now completed The Quarry, admittedly with only 2 (or 3 depending on counting) survivors. Had done pretty well bar an obviously avoidable early death, went downhill in last chapter where I think I ultimately had a bad ending. Story Was interesting, and, despite most characters being annoying, didn't go out of my way to kill any of them. You could see there was a much bigger budget than Dark Pictures games, with very pretty backgrounds and mostly decent character modelling, but some odd mushy mouthed effect spoiled it a little. But overall a pretty good example of the genre.
Edit - redid last chapter so only had 2 character deaths and a few more trophies (24/41, 44%)

Taken over two years but finally finished Sackboy as my brother visited, so spent some quality old school couch co-op time finishing it! Great game.
Only one completion in a month but have also played a lot of Theatrhythm Final Fantasy (almost finished after 50+ hours) and am about 45 hours into Octopath Traveler 2. Hope to get both done in April so I'm ready for Zelda Nuts'n'Bolts.

First Platinum of the year. I adored both of the previous games on 3DS and played them to fuck, this one surpassed those and 100% will be in the game of the year discussion for me. Just so good.

Completed the campaign last night, really enjoyed my 40+ hours with it, albeit playing off and on since release day. The world and castle are stunning, some very good missions, especially the third trail and some fun side missions. I will add more thoughts to the recently completed thread.

Gris is a very pretty game, perfect for a chilled gaming session, but it is perhaps a little too basic and repetitive. Dead Cells is just me running through the game trying to explore the DLC and figure out how to access the Castlevania stuff. I'll have to look out a guide at some point, but I'm just enjoying exploring all these new DLC areas first.

Still got Resi 4 on the go but too scared to play most of the time so think will start Hogwarts Legacy next!

Stick it to the Man 2, essentially, but not quite as fun.

10.2 Desperate Escape DLC (PC) (12/4/23) (7/10)
Mainly wanted to finally play Lost in Nightmares as completed the base game on original GFWL PC launch (with mouse and KB IIRC). Decided as I have played some RE games this year to play through the game to unlock the DLC as well. Played with controller this time. The game is massively better than 6, playing much nicer and with a usable inventory system, it felt like the more modern game. I always liked the different setting too and had forgotten most of it bar the starting scenarios, the swamp and the end fight. Some annoying boss fights but was quite a fun actiony RE game. Played solo with AI Sheva. Rank As in most chapter (usually failing on time). Graphics still looked fairly decent too for the age. 30/70 achievements (43%) on Steam. Glong to do other DLC too. Currently playing Ghostwire Tokyo on PS5 and Loopers on Switch (got sidetracked by a fe demos). Bought RE VIII Gold to play soonish too
Lost in Nightmares was pretty and atmospheric too, albeit short but showed signs of how a newer RE1 remake could look. Also now done Desperate Escape too which while more like the main game was a reasonably fun map on normal too, giving a slightly different perspective and characters. Updated to 32/70 achievements (45%) and time for a new game.

Unearthed from the ancient indian burial ground that is my backlog. Maybe it should have stayed there. At least it was very short.
