Completed this last week on the plane on holiday. The mechanics of the game are as always amazing and it pains me they aren't making more of them as there is no series like it.
However, I remember the ending being insulting and receiving huge backlash from everyone who played it but thought "ah maybe it's not as bad as I remember", but it was. Such a mis step and if they aren't making more, no way to change that.
Ordered the Rain Code Mysteries or whatever it's called which is made by the same guys, billed as a spiritual successor and coincidentally came out the day before I completed it, but will be playing Final Fantasy XVI and Ghost Trick before I get to that. Oh and the Xenoblade 3 DLC.

To be honest pretty unimpressed, I remember liking the original 360 version a whole lot more. I did not like Alan and I hated Barry! I will play the 2 dlc chapters, (already started the signal) but I do not expect my score to change. It has actually put me off the sequel a bit, but I will certainly keep an eye on that

Almost a perfect 10 but for some issues with the parkour, but otherwise a brilliant game and sequel. The final part of the trilogy can not come soon enough.

New job with longer commute really took the speed out of my progress through the last third of this game but finally finished it with all hunts and side quests done (but not the shrine challeneges that I couldn't be bothered with) 57% trophies (31/50) in 81 hours. Enjoyed the story and combat system (even if it felt a little simplistic). I did stick with a set 3 Eikons from about halfway and didn't experiment as much as I could have. Graphics were pretty too (quality mode) and played with English voices for once as it seemed designed that way and enjoyed the variety if non American VAs. Some people complained about sidequests but even if the ganeplay parts could he simple I felt the background they added to the story made them worthwhile. The spectacke fights are really cool too. First FF I have completed since Type 0 HD...
Not sure what next on PS5, maybe something short even though Star Ocean is waiting in the wings... Been playing a little Process of Elimination on Switch but tempted to play Rain Vode too... Really need to play Stasis 2 Bone Totem but PC not as accessible as Ibwpuld like and think it needs proper PC over Steam Deck. Yearly progress in 52/52 not doing well though...

Third time I've played P4 (twice on Golden) and still absolutely amazing. Although I think the Golden dungeon they added did actually drag the game to a crawl right when it should have been getting ready for the finale. Still 10/10.
Planning to do short games now, was tempted by Star Ocean 6 or the new Saints Row (as mid as the reviews said both were) but first baby is due anytime between now and three weeks so think good chance to clear some backlog while I can!

Planning to do short games now, was tempted by Star Ocean 6 or the new Saints Row (as mid as the reviews said both were) but first baby is due anytime between now and three weeks so think good chance to clear some backlog while I can! Missed out on the Platinum as looped one too many times, bah!
More importantly, had this on my backlog for some time and I'm so glad I made the time to absolutely hammer it, brilliant game from start to finish. Really got me in the mood for Starfield considering its built off a Skyrim mod, or indeed now thinking about finally starting up New Vegas on Steam Deck.
I have however now started Star Ocean 6. I was going to leave it for a while and play 2 later this year (and probably still will) but the Star Ocean lure has dragged me in. Didn't help also that Star Ocean 3 soundtrack is now on Spotify and is epic!

I decided after an hour or so of Star Ocean that I wasn't ready for another massive game yet so smashed through Oxenfree II. Like the first game, really love the art style, story etc so absolutely brilliant. The trophy whore in me though, like the first game, thinks they relationship ones are dogshit. Anyway, most important thing is I loved it.
Now to consider Star Ocean 6 again or maybe another shorter game...

Going to say "beat" as I have put in 15 odd hours and played all characters and all maps. My first asymmetrical game and I had/am having a good time. However I do think the lack of people talking over headsets really takes away from the game. Most people either do not talk or are in parties. When you get a good team is great fun and very tense.

Yet another game I Played and completed on xbox when it released. Fancied doing a diff build though, the gunplay and powers are done so well either in sp or 3 player co-op. The only issue I had was when completing side quests, the main quest markers would be wrong and the only way to reset was to go back to your camp and then fast travel to the nearest campaign point.

Played 100% due to praise from a few EGers (font-gers?) on here. Really enjoyed my 5 hours with it, I have only unlocked 1/4 endings and there is absolutely replayability. A very nice chilled experience.

Held off playing as trophies were fucked - majority fixed now but seen that still a few not working.
Anyway, played through in two sittings and, for me, a true 10/10 experience. Special mention to the soundtrack, brilliant stuff. When they fix the trophies I suspect I'll play again to see the bits I missed. Haven't stopped thinking about it since finishing.

Was pushed into this game due to it leaving PS Plus Extra (and ran over the limit getting the EX ending but it didn't quit out so succeeded). Got 37/39 trophies, at 91%. Completed Good ending, bad ending and EX ending (required an NG+ which I sped through) in around 45 hours. Battle system is streamlined from first game but still has some annoying time consuming damage spongey enemies. Story was interesting in its overall arc and ties to the first game, but a lot of the slice of life VN stuff was pretty twee and steretypical. The dungeons have less variety than the first one with an ever expanding hub but it wasn't too bad. Combat system retains the odd free movement before attack system but has lost summons and the weird modes you could use in the first.
It is distinctly average in so many ways but the story was just enough to keep me going. Had its dark elements, but not as dark as Corpse Party whose writer it shares (and made me check out this series). Also the fam service is a bit less disturbing than the first game but still exists (glitch mode)
Not sure what I will play next.

Good "walking sim/telltale type game. Last Stop is a third-person game, where players control one of three main characters through various chapters, by deciding what they should say and performing a variety of minigame interactions as to reveal and move the story along. All 3 stories are connected in some way and the game does bring it all together pretty well. Some good humour in the writing.
