That does seem more likely to be a regular trying to make a point about the need for some controls than an actual random racist who stumbled on this place... but yeah, they really didn't need to use an unobscured slur and a link that people might click without checking. Either way it needs a ban, and we need a way of getting it done quickly when it happens

Honest advice... you want some of the less prolific posters. Mods who are front and centre in every discussion are rarely good picks. Saw a major modding meltdown in the animenewsnetwork forums back when I still posted there, which took them a long, long time to unwind. MrTom's little rampages were nothing by comparison. |

I can be mod. I’m here a bit earlier than most of you and would happily ban all the spammers form my phone in bed.
I won’t ban people for unsavoury comments, though. I rarely take part in altercations and wouldn’t want to read them to decide who’s in the wrong.
