I haven’t noticed anything about shadows tbh. In fact the lighting is stunning most of the time. Every area I’ve gone into so far has been a bit of a wow moment.

Have been tempted to try ER again but then look in the ER thread and see that even people who love it and think it's the best game ever haven't even finsished it (but are also weirdly clamouring for DLC) Don't let that miscreant Danno speak for us all. Most of us most definitely did finish it. Multiple times (I platinumed it before stopping - touch me). Hey! I'll cut you 🤌 |

Fucking hell , I don’t need another game but how does the co-op work in this? If I’m struggling on a boss, I can get someone to help me? Yep. You can summon a random or friend at any of the bonfires, no cost, and they'll play through with you - I think they might disappear at the end of a boss fight if it's a random, but it's full coop in general. |

Blimey, talk about squeaky bum time - that run from Scourged Sister Disco to the next Vestige (Blind Agatha) was a hell of a gauntlet. Hops, skips, jumps, spellcasters on platforms, deranged penitents charging you with their spiked head cages, blindly hoping I'm going the right way...
Still, a productive morning - did Sister Delyth (the kind of boss fight I can totally get on board with), explored, got the Skyrest Bridge Key, opened everything up, unlocked the pyromancy merchant, and am now just doodling around raising my Radiance (13) closer to my Inferno (20) so I can use some lovely looking umbral spells that require both to be about 15.

I'm thoroughly enjoying it and completely addicted - warts and all (not just shoddy shit and jank, but cheap stuff like surprise mobs appearing from nowhere - the developers never tire of that). |

I went Orian Preacher, but I've discovered that heavier armour is very helpful.

You don't really notice it unless you look kind of thing....but when you do it's genuinely genuinely like textures are missing / have forgot to load in. This is in performance mode, quality is currently completely unplayable. It's really annoying. You really are better off waiting and not being an idiot like me. My excuse is I have today to play it and then pretty much won't be able to for three weeks. And for some reason I'm doing okay :-D I'm sure a brick wall is coming. It hasn't been that hard so far, especially compared to P. |
