Which one of them used to be a frequent poster on the Eurogamer forums? Maybe they’re here too and I’ve just blurred or confused their name over the years? They were great because their enthusiasm was sincere. You don’t get that with the majority of these channels. Especially the more rumour-based ones.

Switch version looks GOOD.
I know people are calling the porting job lazy, but it looks up there with NieR Automata as one of the best Switch conversions.

It’s about as good as you could ask for on Switch, which wins hands down with its portable play. As I say, it would appear the PS4 port was an afterthought and the Switch version was the original plan.

I guess I’m at an age where time is flying by, because I remember RDRs release like yesterday, playing it on a console that could honestly barely run it (PS3). The concept that it would run significantly better on a handheld already genuinely impresses me.

Latest PS4 update now includes a 60 FPS toggle for PS5, quite why it wasn't there from the start is a mystery.
Will probably pick it up when the price collapses now.

Did anyone pick this up on Switch in the end? I’m holding out for a physical copy next week, but I’m really looking forward to it. Mostly the chill things that involve hunting animals, picking flowers or playing Poker. Seems like the perfect unwind before sleep.
