CDKeys have this listed for Xbox at £35.99 currently, but not actually available for pre-order. Living in hope that when Monday swings round they suddenly have codes in for the same price.

CD Keys have a habit to jack prices up a couple of quid as things get closer to release, reviews are out in 3 hours.

Install the game before the disc turns up, pop the disc in when it does and you can start playing. Be nice if PlayStation allowed this too. Jeez. How long does it take to install from a disc??

A lot longer on Xbox than it should do at times, at least that was the case on the Xbox One (not got a current one), it could be fucking painful.

Yeah, it's pretty slow to install from disc. Noisy too.
It's just quite satisfying popping the disc in and launching the game immediately when it arrives.

Don’t forget you can download games on the Xbox before you get the disc, use the Xbox app on your phone to install it. I use it all the time I get the disc version of a game.

Acg review. If you don’t want to see it for spoilers he basically says it’s excellent, best action game of the year, great campaign. Had some minor sound issues and some minor texture pop in and the bots are pretty terrible if playing offline. youtu.be/-6BJ9t5XVpY?si=wCtB8hUPiplnZUxcGamingtrend review Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 manages to do something very few licensed IPs can – it’s not just a great Warhammer game, it’s just a great game, period. It’s easily one of the best games of 2024, and we can’t recommend it enough.

For anyone bothered about the tech aspect:
Series S- 1440p/30fps from upscaled 1080p, no performance mode. Reduced settings in vegetation and AO
Series X/ps5- quality mode 4k/30 upscale from 1440p. Performance mode 1080p/60. Quality mode has higher settings than performance mode but not immediately noticeable apart from texture resolution
PC- DLSS2 at launch, DLSS3 will come later. No ray tracing
All consoles have quite a locked 30fps, performance mode does not reach a locked 60fps when stuff pops off.

My birthday is next week. I have a mountain of games to play and Warhammer miniatures to paint.
And yet, by Nurgle's slimy distended paunch, I wants this

Sometimes I send my wife in if she goes into town to pick a paint up just to brighten up their day. Brightens up mine getting rid of her for a bit too.

Reviews were the final nudge I needed, just pre-ordered. Looking forward to this. Be up for some PS5 co-op shenanigans for sure.

That PC Gamer review is a bit scathing but it’s a valid take I guess. I’ll just devour the game, play some multiplayer and move on. It’s not a live service game it doesn’t need to overstay its welcome.

Since there's no way I can run this, maybe I'll play #1 instead. Never did finish it. (Fun but repetitive)

Call yourself a streamer and get it for virtually nothing, only have to bend over and take it from the man.

Xbox gold codes up on CDkeys for £66 which doesn’t feel as painful a stretch over the standard cost.
