Someone's beaten me to posting a trailer, but Everything Everywhere All at Once is getting tremendous reviews across the board as far as I can tell. No confirmed UK release date though. Either way colour me excited. Sweet. The trailer looked awesome, but I was a bit worried the actual thing could be a big mess. Oh well, if that had happened I'd just have watched Supercop instead and been happy.

I liked the music in that teaser.
Everything else was a bit meh, but nice music.

It's either a) a testament to how good the CG was in the first or b) they're deliberately keeping the same fidelity to match but I'm not seeing much of a leap in terms of animation quality in that teaser.
I suppose it just being native 4K will be a leap, seeing as the first was finished at 2k.

It feels odd that it was pretty much the biggest film ever but there’s not really a significant fandom for it

I'm pretty gay for the sea so I'm quite looking forward to it. The first one was a pretty unique experience at the cinema.

I quite enjoyed the first, especially at the cinema. Think it got more hate than it should have because the whole biggest film ever title.

That opening shot with the blue man group running across some branches looked fucking awful! Just gliding across it with the animation complexity of a rock.

Is jake sooley actually in this? It’s very light on dialogue and, I know this is a bit racist, all those blue guys look the same.

It will definitely stick this time. The Titan will be remembered as an underrated classic

God, do we really have to go back to that period of time where they really, REALLY tried to make him a thing?

Which one did that Mars film with the really boring name that flopped? John Carter of Mars? It was Taylor Kitsch, he did... sigh... Battleship with Liam Neeson and... Rhianna in a film based on, y'know the boardgame Battleship. But with aliens in it. I guess.

Ha. Holy fuck, good way to say you have no confidence in the franchise any more.

I like the teaser though, could be good. And there's no way it can be as shit as the abomination they put out recently.

Yeah, I've seen worse teasers, and the franchise has already been dragged through the mud. And not in a cool Predator 1 way to disguise heat signatures.
That said if the prospect is "Predator with advanced technology hunts Native Americans" I'm not sure how much of a fight the Native Americans can really put up without it feeling ridiculous.
