I’ve got a feeling that going back to basics will be a very good move. The Predator should have some threat and mystique restored to it after the last four(?) films either shat lore everywhere or went too over the top.
One of the best things about the first two films was that the Predator was a mysterious threat not just another action film villain

Yeah, I've seen worse teasers, and the franchise has already been dragged through the mud. And not in a cool Predator 1 way to disguise heat signatures. That said if the prospect is "Predator with advanced technology hunts Native Americans" I'm not sure how much of a fight the Native Americans can really put up without it feeling ridiculous. Arnie kills the OG using primitive methods. It fits perfectly. |

Not a trailer but the poster for the new Indiana Jones is up.
I didn’t realise James Mangold was directing. That really dramatically changes how I feel about it. If it’s Logan type take in old Indie this could genuinely be great.
