No, it's only matchmaking that's session based. The AI modes are open throughout.

Just had a half hour session on Bazaar against ODST level bots. Pretty good and didn’t really see any slow down or glitches other than one team stuck running up a staircase for 10 secs before it carried on as normal.
Definitely Halo, and very pacy - the bots are pretty good, lethal when in a pack. You do still feel they lack gaming ‘chops’ from time to time, allowing some pretty easy melees to get through but I’ll have to try on ‘Spartan’ and see what gives.
Graphics are nice, sharp and fluid but the audio is really very good with headphones. Thought the commentary from the AI gets repetitive despite the odd humorous aside.

Gah, really wanna play it now. Didn't have time at lunch as I've got a script to finish and had lots of work distractions today (and - whisper it - just lost at least half an hour geeking out over RTD back at Doctor Who).

Big Team Battle 12v12 is very enjoyable and the servers seem to be pretty solid. 6 matches back to back with quick matchmaking and no problems so far tonight.
Are we only getting one BTB map this w/e (Fragmentation)? Would be nice to see another.

Yeah, I jumped on for half an hour earlier this evening and it seemed great! I was strictly mid-tier on the leaderboards but it's surprising how easy it is to get back into a groove with Halo, despite ODST being the last one I put any real time into.

Also, having your runaway warthog kill the guy that just shot you off it never gets old.
This is great. Quite hyped for the december release now. Fingers crossed the campaign is at least halfway decent.

Damn son, unlucky! It was a thing of surprising brilliance. Took turns with my lads using my account as they can't access insider as they are both under 18.
I gave them much hilarity with my ponderous aiming and 50 year olds situational awareness, though grappling my way back onto the game area after a slight steering issue in a ghost earned some kudos with them!
Watching my eldest rattle up some impressively consistent top 3 placings was almost as much fun as playing.
Day one for me - but we are gutted that Campaign co-op is getting delayed.

Glad to have seen several videos of the mp saying how brilliant it is. . Will have a fat player base as well being free.. obviously I'm far more interested in the campaign but will definitely play some mp. Still so sad it's not co op as that is definitely halo at it's very best and every one I have played through co op first. |

I read online somewhere that they may have another flight end of October but with a new client as 343 were saying to delete it.

Does any of the battle pass fluff from the beta carry over to the main game? It always seems to be a dice roll on whether beta progress unlocks in retail games.
I played a few games on Sunday. It was fun. It felt like classic Halo, which brings with it a nostalgic feel. I was utter trash of course, but I scored our team a few points with my Brave Sir Robin running away skills during capture the flag.

Campaign overview trailer dropping in about 12 hours time. Was worried this would be delayed so here's hoping it gets locked down for this year. This, Forza and GTA San Andreas are my Gamepass Christmas presents to myself.
