4 was just 3.5, which I wasn't crazy about. And the fakeness of the fake Steelport (which was never very real to begin with) made it less satisfying to tootle around it, I guess. And it was depressing! They blew the planet up!

Playing around with the character creator. Not too keen on the outfit choices given, though I'm sure the main game will have more options in the shops. Loving the face and body sliders though. I've got a reasonable me going at the moment. Yeah, in the customisation trailer you can see a ludicrous amount of outfit options, also you can apply dozens of different materials to a piece of clothing. I really like that you have options for different nose/mouth/eye types now. As much as I loved the detailed customisation options in the previous games, it bugged me that still all you could do was change the specs of the same basic shape, especially with the rugged male nose. Different actual models for the features really opens up possibilities. |

I'm not really a fan of Saints Row but that gameplay looks pretty uninspired to me honestly.
Shooting also looks incredibly wonky. I know SR is known for its jank but whoever's playing seems to be struggling against the controls

I think they last saints row had bad aiming due to aim acceleration but the ones before were all ok.

Had already pre-ordered but watching ACG's take on a preview copy (section of the game) has made me even more certain I will get a lot of fun out of the game, only a month to go.

Anyone getting this, out next week of course. it will have "untethered" (the best kind) co-op except when starting a mission and I think you both keep all progress. Far Cry please take not for future games!

Yeah, very tempted to day 1 it. I'm anticipating reviews settling at about 80%.

I've pre-ordered the PS5 version from the game collection. I nearly got it from Turkey psn as it's only £28, but I'm still unsure on it.

Yeah, saw that on HUKD. Would rather get it on SX mind you, so might go for an even dodgier Argentina key for a similar price.
I have a feeling these grey ways of obtaining games will get more and more popular with the way things are going.

It'll be the first Saints Row I've not bought on day one, hopefully it's a lot better than it appears from the marketing.
SR2 is probably the best GTA clone (a smidge ahead of Scarface:The World is Yours), everything after in SR that has felt a bit off.

It's been 9 years since SR4 came out. Feels like a crazy gap considering how many SR titles they pumped out in the 360 era.
