Ed Davey being there is a no brainer. The LDs have just swept the board in the shires, which is not very labour and very agricultural. CBA checking but also includes where clarksons farm is? This is an easy choice for him.

They really, really, really do. Yeah our Corbyn supported councillor candidate was congratulating Trump the other week, something to do with Harris personally being a war criminal with regards to Gaza... Just insane. Ahh yes, we had that at the old forum with an annoying prick who helpfully called everyone who wasn't a fan of Corbyn, a Tory and that Kamala was a cop, obviously because he was just repeating what to say.

I'm surprised that Ed didn't get out the skis to get a tow from one of the tractors.

Feels like if the tax change did do what people are protesting to say it will the celebrity endorsements aren’t helping their cause www.instagram.com/reel/DCjptfmsAwR/Certainly not much sympathy for Andrew Lloyd Webber in the comments beneath his interview at the protest here on 5Live

My brother is positively foaming at the mouth about it. Baffling, he's a public servant who doesn't know any farmers, let alone realise the small impact this will have. Just taken in by Facebook bollocks again. Whole thing needs to be set on fire.

Do wonder if these pricks calling Harris or Biden "war criminals" actually paid any attention to Trumps stance on Palestine.

His 'typical BBC' comment did raise a massive guffaw from me! What a total arse. Partridge couldn't have delivered it better. He would also have a far better idea of the public's general view of farmers...

the fact is Biden tried to get peace deal going but it was being blocked at every turn from lots of sides
The low IQ idiots calling biden and harris "war criminals" only wanted an Hamas victory (rivers to the sea..) and the US does not want a strong Hamas. Biden should of been harder with Netanyahu, now Netanyahu will have free reign when trump is in charge (and there will be riots in the UK)
I really hate corbynista types, congratulating Trump the other week is another low for them

Was hearing an interesting point raised on the Quiet Riot podcast, where co-host Naomi Smith, from Best for Britain, was saying that the font on the placards being held by lots of people (including Clarkson) looked very familiar. When she looked into it further, the placards had a striking similarity to others from Together Association, a group that was organising a lot of the anti-lockdown protests, screams about 15-minute cities and raises anger about ULEZ (https://togetherdeclaration.org/campaigns-page/).
Chances are that those holding the placards had no idea abot where they came from, as someone would just be handing them out to people as they went by.

[br I think it was Lewis Goodall who interviewed some people there that went on about being locked up for tweets and peadophiles were running free on the streets. It’s encouraging that the NFU actually took a step back and decided not to platform Farage because of mixed feeling on him but also the politicising of the event and bringing in nut jobs to the cause. Seems like they’re trying to get a foot in at the table and conflate issues and make it a culture war

This is the kind of thing the Socialist Workers Party does. I doubt most people turning up to protest whatever support their sexual assault cover-up practices but any vaguely left-wing event will have loads of their pre-printed placards on display.

Letting Farage speak would also get a lot of people noticing that Brexit has fucked farmers in every orifice too. Doubt it would do this protest much good if people started looking at what the real crises in farming are.

Latest on the local Facebook group is that it's all Starmer's fault that energy bills are so high that pensioners can't afford to put the heating on etc. Good grief.

It's proper mad. Moat people's lives have not changed one jot since end of June. But I'm not a moat person!! Why hasn't Labour made everything in the country better in a few months after 14 years of Tory fuck ups?
It's a disgrace.

There’s crazies around here that do that but blame the local labour MP for it. They put it on every post, including when he was doing some engagement thing with school kids. Facebook just needs to die.

I am considerably colder than I was in June. Me too, it's bloody freezing here. 2 jumpers, 2 pairs jog bottoms, dressing gown and gloves on and I'm still cold. I still refuse to put the heating on though.
