Where are all those angry British citizens who were complaining about all the forrins taking all the jobs? Surely they should be snapping up these unfilled positions? Right? It wasn't just all racism was it?

The groundswell of gammon opinion is that they will soon be press ganged into picking fruit, washing pots and driving trucks.
We have an absolute ton of potential slave labour, ready to dog us out of this hole

Tesco big shop this morning. Freezer aisle half empty with multiple gaps. Usually there's at least 20 variations of frozen chips but today? Less than 5 and a good 8-12 freezers in a row completely empty. The fruit juice carton shelves were mostly empty as well with only a few scraggly dented and mangled ones left unless you wanted Apple or Orange.

There is a labour shortage in the states and other parts of the developed world, although ours is exacerbated by Brexit!
I'm not comfortable with the idea of remainers using the labour arguement as it kind of buys into the idea of the EU being a big ol' neo liberal playground. I'm all about the unity.....get robots to pick apples and drive lorries, see you in 20 years!

I was in a Wetherspoons last month and was looking through the magazine so I could draw a large cock on Tim Martin’s head
They may have got wise to this now and he wasn’t even in the magazine. I resorted to drawing a beautiful caricature of him with said cock and a speech bubble with “Hi I’m Tim Martin and I’m a massive bellend” written in it
Hopefully some gammon saw it at breakfast and had a good chuckle over it

Well no, brexit is GREAT. They're just saying Scotland will be ten times less great than England if they go for independence.

They missed a bit: "There are real fiscal challenges getting there that cannot be wished away...But the long-term costs of staying tied to the UK’s rapidly imploding growth model are just as bad.”
So shitshow Tory Brexit or shitshow SNP Independence....what would you choose? Not a hard choice for me!
Yes it would be difficult for a while, but it's miles better than the alternative. Scotland wouldn't rejoin the EU overnight, hopefully the UK will come to its senses and form a better trading relationship with the EU, to enable frictionless trade between Scotland and fUK.

If Scotland go independent, rejoin the EU then invade and conquer England does that get us back in too?

Appreciate the apology. Truly one of the worst news sites for actually, you know, reading the article.
Seems perfect though, isn't this what some of the 51.9% with coastline homes/second homes voted for?

You don't need to go on holiday to Europe, lads. Stay in Britain and go to a Butlins with good proper food, none of that forrin muck like pasta.

Silver lining I can probably get out of my contract with them early now... The new fees for other companies have only applied for new contracts not existing ones so you may have to stick with them So does that just leave one major phone provider not charging now? Vodafone IIRC, and I imagine they will soon follow suit.

Yeah there's no way Voda will eat the charges, probably holding out to snag some extra contracts to vary later

Pah, who buys stuff from the EU. I much prefer waiting 4-6 weeks for something to arrive from a diffferent continent with no chance of being able to return it. Sexy British risks.

I see the typical brexiters responses of it’s only £2 so what difference does it make, completely missing the point that they first said this would never happen and then that this is not a benefit.

This may shock some on here, but UK city worse after brexit and boris lied Cornwall may only get a maximum of £3million of cash from the Government to directly replace the £100m it could have been eligible for if the UK had remained in the EU, it has been claimed. Prior to Brexit Cornwall had qualified for funding from the European Union due to it being recognised as one of the poorest regions in Europe. As a result Cornwall could have been receiving £100m a year to help provide economic stimulus and support projects which would provide everything from employment and skills to infrastructure. Prime Minister Boris Johnson has previously stated that Cornwall would not miss out on any funding that it would have received if the UK had remained in the EU. www.falmouthpacket.co.uk/news/19571108.cornwall-get-just-3m-replacement-funding-leaving-eu/shocked I tell you... SHOCKED
