Yeah, this. It’s the ick factor for me, I don’t mind death as long as it’s not from fright.
Hello new page, Australia is cool, spiders on face less so.

I’d reward them by emigrating there, but I don’t think they’ll see value in me. If not, they'll stick you on an island for 10 years in the hope you... er... cease to exist? I think that's the plan?

Norrie out already. Hoping Emma does well as she has been struggling since winning the US Open.

If only there was a way that he could really easily fix this predicament he's in....

Andy fucking Murray , good on you, hope he gets through another few rounds, he’s worked his arse off and done amazingly to get to this stage with his metal hip.

Yep, as one person said in the comments section "Nice booster for the nation, perhaps Djokovic should get one too"
That made me laugh. Fair play to Murray, he worked hard for this.

Love watching Kyrgios play, the mad man.

Love watching Kyrgios play, the mad man. The guy at this point is only relevant *because* he's a "bad boy", he's currently ranked 114!

I know some people like the Kyrgios tantrums, but I do not. He could be a champion if he tried, but no, he's just going to piss all that talent away.
So I'll enjoy watching him if/when he grows the fuck up. Much like I enjoyed watching Hewitt once he grew the fuck up. Not holding my breath though, he seems to care more about being a "personality" than being a tennis player.

And he has enough money at this point to do whatever the fuck he wants, for the rest of his life. So he should go do that.

I'm a part time tennis fan and even I can see that he's got loads of talent but rarely applies himself. Frustrating.

Completely agree although I don't think I would ever get to a point where I could enjoy watching him play. His arrogance is just revolting - on and off the court - and I don't think Hewitt was anywhere his level on that front.

I always find that view on sportspeople an interesting one. Like I don't give 100% to my job and I try my best to enjoy my life. Just cos he's a sportsman should that not apply?
He's been able to make a career, he true to himself and probably set himself up for many years to come. Fair play.

Depends if you act like a cunt at every opportunity like Kyrgios does though. Plenty of sportspersons fail to live up to their potential but, in Britain particularly, we usually cheer those plucky underdogs on the loudest in the hope that one day it’ll click

He's been able to make a career, he true to himself and probably set himself up for many years to come. Fair play. The difference is that most people who have an attitude problem and hate their job, do not have the results of their attitude problem and hating their job out on public display for me to be annoyed by. Most people who hate their job are not paraded by national media as "THE BEST HOPE FOR AUSTRALIAN TENNIS, YES HE'S KIND OF A DICK BUT HE'S GOOD AT SPORTS, STRAAAAYAAAAA" That and the money spent on him, could have been spent on someone that's actually committed. If tennis were a team sport, he would have been fired long ago. At least we can have Barty as the face of Australian tennis now. She's both good at her job, and she's not an entitled dick about it. Imagine that!

Well that was a fun day for British tennis fans.
And for once, that comment isn't meant sarcastically!
I'm not even really a tennis fan (other than Stephi Graf!), but it's kinda nice to have something to get hooked on.

Yeah, pity Scotland’s Andy Murray turned up today. Daniel-san played really well though.
