I’ve put small bets on the tie and the USA this morning, both £7.50 @ 18/1 I don’t think they will come back to win but if loads on red goes on the scoreboard I’ll cash out Hah yes, I suddenly remembered the tie situation this morning so chucked a few quid in that as well! I've watched a little bit of the tour this season, and Scheffler's form and consistency has been frightening. However his wife is apparently due to go into labour any time now, so I've kept clear of him in the betting.
Put on a raft of small bets ahead of the first round, so keeping an eye on Finau, Scott, Reed and Aberg, and I was surprised DeChambeau hadn't been mentioned at all and he's off to a nice start. Oh, and a couple of bets on Tom Kim who tore up the course most days last year but has been out of sorts so far this season.
I've moved on from my annual senior-to-be-in-the-mix bet on Freddie (*sniff*), and gone with the devil himself, Ol' Lefty.
Absolute highlight of the sporting year for me.
