Scottie Scheffler having quite the morning. There was a fatal traffic collision outside the course, so traffic was stopped by police. Scheffler tried to circumvent the closure, got into a row with Kentucky police and ended up getting swifted off in handcuffs. I think he managed to shank every single tee shot after he took the lead and also miss two tiddlers. My heart started to sink as soon as he hit that hook into the spectators literally seconds after taking a 2 shot lead... I bailed soon after, the USA chants were already pissing me off. |

I watched the golf in Troon yesterday, it was good but not as well organised as the Opens in the north west which I’ve been too. Far too much queuing and not enough time watching the golf
Had a great time in Scotland though, due to the piss poor public transport started in Kilmarnock, also visited Irvine and obviously Troon itself
Was introduced to Venom for the first time, highly recommended if you’ve never had one before (it’s an alcoholic concoction - always £10 no matter where you are In Scotland apparently)

To bring this in line with the forum’s name, whoever came up with the screen graphics design for The Open this year should be fired into the sun / grey clouds.
Those black panels with massive Times New Roman block capitals look fucking awful.

My initial thoughts were that but there’s no prize money involved. There is however an “appearance fee” . It’s got nothing to do with Liv or PGA
