It what it is. The money coming into the sport is corrupt but we can’t control that. I would imagine more heads were being turned to joining Liv and it’s better it all being linked together . It’s in F1 and football and the pga have taken Saudi sponsors before .
It’s a bit shitty how they’ve gone behind the backs of players who stuck up for the pga though but obviously money talks. However I think the team aspect of Liv will be good if that’s integrated somehow as long as they don’t tinker with the majors too much!

Rory is no saint, he's moving to Dubai to avoid paying his fair share of taxes in the middle of a cost of living and public services funding crisis.
However, I don't think it's very fair to give him grief for his response to the PGA letting him down. If every player had followed Rory's lead and held the line, LIV would have struggled to make an impact.

Aye. I've only read the quotes, they are pretty honest. He's acknowledged the cash from PIF will help the game but also how conflicted he is. As well as being let down by the PGA. He came across on paper as quite disappointed.

I'm sure they'll waive the TV rights so that golf can go back to being free to air so that young people whose parents don't care about golf can actually watch it. Stick the Ryder Cup on Youtube and Twitch perhaps.
Gosh, so many opportunities to grow the game now that they have more money than they need.
