I'm sure they have looked at From's scurrent popularity and realized they could make a killing in sales. Kinda sucks though. I'll wait for a sale.
Unfortunately it looks like many of the new 360 games are not available here after all. That's a shame, because some of them are quite expensive on disc.

Just had a race in Ridge Racer 6. It's not X Enhanced, and I'm not sure the Auto HDR is is an improvement. At least in the Rave City track, it looks a bit dark.
But I'm just happy to have my favourite racing game back, without needing to keep the 360 around.
Will eat something then check out DOA4.

Well, I have some spare reward points, and I do want to celebrate the anniversary... so I'll get myself Gunvalkyrie. This is gonna make me rage, I'm sure.
By the way, Outpost Kaloki X (plus DLC) and Cloning Clyde are currently free to own.

DOA4 isn't X Enhanced either. Auto HDR works a little better here than in RR6, but it'd look just as good with it turned off, I'd imagine.

Dead Space 2 is great at 60fps but that 720p image hurts my eyes.
Kameo looks insanely good at 4k60 with HDR
Mirrors Edge is transformed at 60fps
...Really enjoying checking some of this stuff out.

So am I right in saying the One X doesn't get the FPS boost the newer concsoles get, but still gets everything at a much higher res? Can't get over how FEAR looks and plays. Sharp as hell (apart from the textures obvs) and buttery smooth. It's quite impressive how - when everything's in slow mo and there's blood, bodies and chunks of wall flying everywhere - it looks so bloody amazing, still. Just not sure if it's in 4K or not.

Several of these 360 games haven't actually been available on the marketplace for a long while, and they did not come back yesterday. Seems that MS added them mostly for disc owners. OG Xbox games are all available to download instead. |

Just a few pounds each. I think the most expensive one actually was FEAR Files but even then only by a couple of quid. |

Some analysis shows that in Gears 3, the Series X drops the resolution if you enable FPS Boost (not in the other games, luckily). Not all the way down to 720p, mind. It goes down to 1440p60. Which is exactly the same as the Series S.
That's pretty weird. Not making much use of that extra power?

Turns out JSRF(and others) got pulled from the final list.
Nextlander mentioned the list wasn't finalised till around 24hrs before the announcement with several titles dropping off last minute while some only got locked the day before.

I imagine what happens is that they just make those games compatible anyway, then try to obtain the license from the publishers. If they can get it even just at the last minute, that's great, otherwise they simply drop them.
