I've missed this and the previous tour. Life has got in the way. Hopefully I'll get to see them again before they retire.

Had tickets for their show in Greece last July but I was hospitalised for a bypass heart surgery and missed it. Reportedly, it was a good show, but Bruce called us Greek c#nts for lighting some flares and it is rumoured he refused accepting any offers to come back this year. Worse part is they have added Alexander the Great in the current songlist, which was highly requested by Greek fans over the years for obvious reasons - last year he even joked saying that "Alexander the Great [long pause] didn't see the Writing on the Wall" messing with the audience...
Nevertheless, I'd love to see them live once again, their 7th son tour back in 1988 is in my top 3 concerts ever...

I like this, they describe themselves as Atmospheric Black Metal and Death Doom, bit to me there's a strong melodeath aspect too - the riffs remind me of early Amon Amarth, then there's hints of Panopticon and 1914, maybe. All bands I love so this is great.

Another one by Owl. Starts off pretty slow and high volume is definitely required.

Better Lovers just shadow dropped their EP a short while back. While I don't think any matches or betters 30 Under 13, it's a good listen.

I can find a lot of modern death metal blurs into one, but this slightly stands out for me. I think it almost has psychadelic hints here and there, not much but just enough to contrast against and raise it out of the death metal mire.

Saw Midnight a couple of weeks ago, didn't know too much about them, but they were amazing live so I've been listening to them quite a lot.

Gutted to have missed these shows, great band that don't play here too often.

^ That is fantastic, thanks for the recommendation
I'm not really a fan, but listening to Slaughter to Prevail can be a fun one off listen if you just want a lot of aggression.

Just booked conjurer on their latest uk tour. Doing a few local small venues. So very excited for that. I am going solo though as mates are lame and not into the really "heavy" stuff.

Saw Conjurer support Carcass recently, good live act. Haven't really got into their albums but they have a good stage (and at the end of the gig, off stage) presence. Just recall the bassist windmilling near constantly.
Some nice bits, pretty cool when one of the vocalists performs away from the mic, just doing the gutteral roars over the chatter and ambience of the crowd.

Urfaust's latest (and possibly last album, going by some goodby messages on their social media) is decent, if you like weird scuzzy doomy ambient black metal fueled by alcohol. And I love the cover artwork more than I should.

The new album by Horrendous is yet more prog-death-thrash excellence. Would love to get the chance to see these guys play over here, not sure they have done yet...?

ooo, Urne are doing a UK tour end of the year.
December is going to be a gig heavy month (by which I mean, this will be the 3rd gig I see that month)

I have Mutoid Man on September 14th, and Green Lung December 3rd at the moment. Supposedly High Command are playing in November but no tickets seem to have gone on sale so not sure what's going on there.

Also think they're playing Damnation fest which is looking mighty tempting this year...

They're a small enough band that I've just messaged their facebook page, maybe they'll reply.
