I’m rewatching Dark Fate RIGHT NOW.
It’s not terrible but it’s got too many stupid unanswered questions. I like a bit of mystery in films but this is weird stuff that makes no sense. Eg: why does Sarah randomly know a top level military guy who’ll just give them an EMP for free? Why can Carl detect time travel down to the grid coordinate and second when no other Terminator could? Why does Grace have coordinates for Carl randomly and yet no one knows who he is until they meet him? How did Carl learn when their CPUs need to be physically switched for that to happen? I get some of these might have been answered in a sequel or are just Plot Armor/Conveniences but I’m pedantic like that.

No, they set up the missing daughter thing but just never resolve it as the scenes were deleted, it wasn't Huxley.

I actually unironically love Demolition Man still, it just hits that delicate sweet spot of ridiculous action and plain stupidity. The inclusion of Dennis Leary does bring it down a bit though.

Watching The Terminator for the first time in ages.
Couple of notes:
I'd forgotten that they shaved Arnold's eyebrows for this film. It is not a good look.
And Jesus fuckin' Christ, Reece. Learn to read the room.
Sarah: "I was dreaming about dogs."
Reece: "We trained them to find Terminators."
Sarah: "What are the women of your time like?"
Reece: "Strong warriors."
Still a fun film, though the visuals don't hold up in HD.

If I can put my Jaws nerd hat on for a second, quite a bit of the underwater footage at the end uses a real shark, and there are definitely a few shots where he gets his dicks out. Yes great white sharks are so awesome that they have two dicks.
