I watched them all again recently, they very much hold up imo.
If I had to pick the best... maybe the second one? But I love all of them in different ways. The first is relatively grounded, and by 3 it's very silly, but there's a charm to that. And 3 has the Iron Chef guy in it, and the library fight, and the knife store fight, and Wick spending 2 entire minutes assembling a customised revolver just so he can shoot a single guy with it.
Fuck I love these movies.

My only problem with John Wick is that 'secret society of assassins' was cool originally but its subsequently devolved into 'if literally everyone is an assassin, nobody is an assassin'.

They're solid 7 out of 10 films for me. Probably would be an 8 or a 9 if they starred someone with fully functioning knees and elbows.
