Dunno if you guys do it, but turn on visualise sound. It takes some getting used to but is great for pin pointing directionally where firefights are(gunfire), or hearing if people are nearby (footsteps).
Good pointers on crouching, you're almost audio invisible when crouched too, so can get the drop on people alot easier too.

My son uses that and it's extremely useful, not just for footsteps and firefights but it also shows animals and people healing on screen. |

I may stash it away and use it once everyone has moved on to something else.
I'm liking the fire-Herald skin... except it's not very handy for hiding given that you're entirely a bright orange glow.

I just want to mention that last night I got 4 one-shot sniper headshot kills in the space of about 3 minutes.
And I wasn't even hiding in a bush!

Had the best win tonight, duo, snuck up on the final 2 on a hill, with gold snipers, friend took right, I took left. Waited till they took out the people they were fighting then simultaneous head shot, match won.
They must have been so mad! 🤣

I logged back in yesterday after neglecting Fortnite for ages- went from lv39 to 50 in two matches because of all the challenges I'd racked up. Might have another go today to get closer to completing the battle pass before the big event on Saturday

Oh and I really like the Rocket League car (Octane)- it genuinely handles just like Rocket League, I was jumping and boosting all over the place

I'm now in a race against time to unlock the Spectral Gwen skin before the season ends. Bit surprised to be so far behind since by my reckoning I've played a downright embarrassing amount of this game these past few months.

I got the Spectral Gwen skin last night, so I'm taking a night off tonight.
I also played an embarrassing amount of this game this season, because I really wanted those Gwen skins... though as I mentioned upthread I've kinda gone off them now I've seen so many around.
Luckily I have no interest in the horribly tacky gold (Aurelian?) skins on the next page.

Yeah it's a bit less special now that every match is saturated with Gwens, but they really did knock it out of the park with that skin; she looks like she stepped right out of the movie.

I got as far as celestial stuff and pretty happy with that. Never got as far in any previous BP.
Dunno how you'd get any higher, pretty much out of quests.
On that note, just did the 100m in the Octane. Fanks for the tips! 😄

I’ve only got halfway through the battle pass this season, first time that’s happened since I started playing in Chapter 2 season 2. I’ve got enough Vbux to buy the pass again if the mood takes me, but I think I’ll start doing what my daughter does, and buy it at the end (if I’ve earned enough levels to make it worthwhile) rather than at the beginning.
Not sure why I fell off it, too many other games to play maybe. Still enjoyed a few matches this week, just not enough to play nothing else

I dropped off early this season but then powered through late on with the Save the World extra XP and catching up with quests. Decided I really wanted the Gwen Stacey skin so ended up at lvl140 which is highest I've ever gone.
I always forget how much fun it is since no build. I go back and they've always added something new. Missing the live event tonight but interested to see what the new chapter will bring.

That was an absolute stinker I'm honestly annoyed at the time I spent on that. I usually play the end of season events because they're often quite impressive in some fashion, technically or otherwise. That was just mind numbingly dull, I'm left wondering how anyone at Epic thought it'd be a good idea |

I didn’t hate it- the minigames were daft, but them blowing up the entire island at least gives me hope they’re bringing back some more classic locations (eg. Steamy Stacks was viewable through a telescope)

Actually liking the new island, and bikes are awesome. Looks really good, more realistic in places, have they moved it over to unreal 5?
Also can't wait to unlock Geralt too.
