For the people in the know will you have until the end of the season to complete this pirates thing that's available right now or does it end earlier? Son has bought it and things are unlocking every 2 days with the last 2 being on the 31st Jul and 2nd Aug respectively. Will it then end it 2 days later or run it's course till the season end on Aug 16th. We're away from the 31st Jul so is worried he'll miss the last 2 (omg it's all I've heard for the past 40mins). unfortunately I need to correct myself, I noticed that the event seems to end 9 days from today. I could have sworn the Star Wars pass went until the end of the season but it looks like the PoC pass might not let you complete the tasks after August 6th. Sorry if that means your boy misses out. There may be a glimmer of hope - it looks like the last section opens on Tuesday? So if he’s up to date on all the challenges it might be possible to complete after 2pm the day before you leave… |

Zuluhero it’s a live stream of some Disney announcements - but you don’t have to watch live, it will be an experience you can launch into anytime until the 16th. So no need to get up at 3:30am

Forgot about the Metallica one and missed it. Will probably forget about the Disney one too  What's going on with the Fall Guys stuff? Can you use Fall Guys variants of your skins in regular battle royale, or only in specific modes? Hard to keep up with this stuff since I've skipped this season and uninstalled it from my PC, and attempts at battle royale / zero build on the switch have resulted in me getting annoyed that I now suck at fps(-ish) on a controller. So I'm sticking to occasional Racing / Festival until I decide to reinstall on PC. |

There’s a small Fall Guys course in the main Battle Royale map- when you start, it converts your character to a Fall Guys bean, and converts back again when you finish the course. You get loot based on how quickly you finish the course (and it’s quite generous- I can easily finish with silver loot every time, only takes 30s and you get 2 good guns and full shields for your trouble).
You can’t play as the Fall Guys bean for the rest of the match, just the course.
Apparently there’s a separate Fall Guys mode with more courses made by Mediatonic, but I haven’t tried it.

At some point they're just going to merge fall guys and rocket league into fortnie entirely, along with Disney Infinity+1 or whatever they make. They're aiming for the Omnigame.

What an out and out utter fucking farce it is to try and change an email address under your epic account (if you no longer have access to the old account). My sons epic account is using the old ISP related email address i set up for him ages ago.
I still have access to his account, 2FA is still place and working however when you try and change the email address associated with the the first thing it does is send a security code to the old address. How fucking ass backwards is this ?
I don't think i've ever known a service where the email change process sends something to the old email address. WTAF!?!?!
Chatted with support and I now have to give them war and fucking peace to try and get this resolved. All linked accounts and approx connection dates. All transactions made on the account. All locations where a transaction has been made. The oldest "receipt" ... an how do I supply that fuckwits!
I'm not hopeful. Anybody else had to do this ?

I’m looking forward to the chapter 2 remix season. Chapter 2 is when me and my kids all started playing, so there’s plenty of nostalgia (which feels weird for a game we started in 2020, but there you go).
Things I’d like to see:
- something that lets you disguise as the guards in the underground grotto…
- …and a crazy run of special chests in the grotto to get good loot early on
- dropping at the refinery place (slurpy swamp?) and getting shields up to max from the outflow pipe
- tactical shotgun FTW
