Yeah definitely seems buggier this season. Twice I've tried to rocket launch someone and the rocket has disappeared/failed to fire, then it's gone into the reload animation.

Lol. I had a similar experience yesterday where I was just trying to do some nice quite fishing, but people kept coming up and attacking me from behind, and somehow I kept killing them. But all I was trying to do was fish.
I think I killed about 8/9 players, almost entirely by luck because they all got the drop on me and I wasn't even really trying to get good guns or ammo.

Or maybe they were all just more rubbish than me.

Didn't get the win though.

Unfortunately not - my daughter used to do “Battle Labs” in Creative to learn the map whenever it was refreshed, that’s unlimited time and friends only, but you can’t do quests in that mode.

If I want space I usually just look for the place furthest from the Battle Bus path and from any locations.

Edit- doing this in Squads mode also reduces the chance of being found by randos, since squads tend to stick together and go where the action is

The graphics update is pretty nice on the XSS, the ray tracing ties the visual presentation together well and the nanite stuff adds a noticeable level of additional detail.

It's nowhere near the mindblowing next gen leap of going from Gran Turismo 2 to 3, for example, but it's still cool.

I dropped just South of Slappy Shores and encountered 2 wolves right next to each other immediately- but that was after searching for a few matches and only finding one. A guide I read said if you’re in a squad you can tame one wolf, get someone else to tame it, then tame it a second time for the quest.

Tried south of Slappy Shores. Didn't see a single wolf.
Found an online guide and tried the places they suggested. Didn't see a single wolf.
There used to be hundreds of animals, now I see an occasional boar, a very occasional chicken, and that's it.

The Capture Points weekly quest has made it into much more of a deathmatch/action type game than it usually is when I play.
I'd usually have long games where I rarely saw anyone until the last 10, and end the game with a kill count of 0-4.
This week I've been getting kill counts in the double digits, but also dying around #15-#20.

Still bloody hate those hammers though. The only 2 games where I got down to the last 10 I got killed by those things again.

That rig back bling had better tell me everything I need to know so I can completely remove the UI

I really like the update- was saying to my daughter last night it reminds me a lot of chapter 2 season 2, which is the first one we both played. Multiple bosses dropping keycards to vaults, henchmen, exotic weapons, two opposing factions… Ghost vs Shadow all over again. Shame they can’t bring that map back for proper nostalgia (she thinks that’s the best map ever and the current one is “lame”)

Yeah, I got to the end of the battlepass and had everything I wanted and just had about 60 stars left over with nothing to use them for, so I had to pick up all the junk I didn't want just to unlock the bonus stuff. Which I mostly also don't want.

Just discovered the henchmen and bosses don’t attack you if you’re dressed in the Ghost Brutus skin from Ch2 season 2. Very cool callback!

Cyberpunk vs. Sunset Overdrive judging by the grind rails. I had one match earlier, not sure about the new bikes but they sure do move on a proper road. Havoc shotgun seems decent. I quite like some of the skins in the battle pass too, although the weird cosmic samurai one is just ridiculous.

Liking everything so far, got a couple of VR's last night in duos. The power up that lets you gain medium ammo whilst sliding is ridiculously useful. The Bossk style skin on page 5 like the best of the battle pass to me.

Yeah mega city looks great but some of the buildings are a little odd (just have a ground floor and a roof level, no floors in-between).

That's my favourite weapon at the moment. Landed a few nice hits with it. Yes it's infuriating to be sniped but very satisfying when you pull off a long range kill yourself.

I seem to be a bumbling buffoon with the tactical pistol though, emptying an entire clip on someone at close range and missing every shot.
