William has aged horribly. Staggeringly so. Last time I paid any attention, he was the handom prince every girl wanted to marry I never realised he was deemed handsome , though that was his wee brother .

Maybe the prince part was doing a lot of the heavy lifting there then

We were watching the news and the oldest one wandered into shot in a full suit and my daughter scoffed 'heh, nerd' at him. Poor little fuckers. Just let them play pokemon and watch cartoons, ffs. Nope. They've got every fucking privilege known to man, for life. On our money. No pokemon for the cunts and Little Miss Nick gets to mock them too.

To be fair, they're kids who deserve a childhood

Without a proper childhood they'll grow up as unhappy blood-drinking reptoids.

Never a fan of the Royal family: if only for the idea that a family has the right by birth to rule over us because God says so is antiquated, irrelevant bollocks.
However, I do have a hunch that Charlie will be 'asked to step aside' and let Will take over after Lizzie goes. I just think the image Clarence House cultivates of the royal family both home and abroad is too important for them to replace an aging, frail monarch with another one. William as a '21st Century King for a 21st Century Britain' will sit well with the narrative of a forward thinking, modern UK. He even recently talked about accepting countries leaving the Commonweath, for example.

Charles has been waiting and preparing to be king his entire life, he's not going to stand aside. The line of succession changing so daughters aren't dropped to bottom of the order of offspring was the last change made and that's about as "radical" a departure to how the Royal Family operates that we're going to get.
I'd rather the Queen was Elizabeth the Last than change who we get next, fiddling the rules by skipping Chuck pretty much shows how it's all bollocks.

I think Charles could stand aside for Will.
Even if he doesn't, he's not going to get long at bat. He hasn't got the "Fuck off I'm King for life" and hold on till his nineties mentality that Liz has.

I think Charles could stand aside for Will. You know what we call it when we start picking and choosing heads of state? You’d have to drag him from the throne kicking and screaming

For the monarchy to survive, they need a sixteen year old to become Queen, on the day she passes her GCSE’s. Then the Mail can get some pervy upskirt shots and the country will rejoice as paedophillia becomes normal again. Or she forms a band that champions a new style of music that anyone eighteen years or older doesn’t get. Oh, and call it 1976 again, so we can get high sniffing glue.

Republics still have ruling classes and ultra rich. This is just our way of government.

Yeah he hasn't got the genes to last that long, his dad only lived to 99 and his mum is scraping her way past 96.

Getting a bit tired of having others speak for us all when it comes to this lot.

It’s easy, move to the West Midlands, Shropshire or Worcestershire, we never ever get mentioned in anything like that

The coronation gig was a good show, but I did feel I was watching a propaganda show of national strength at times. They should have hit the drones to fire off a few missiles to make it official.

But as a propaganda exercise, I’m not entirely sure Princess Anne cosplaying as a pirate or that little tent they made to rub oil into his tits really give off the ‘innovative, cutting edge, forward facing and sane’ vibes.
I can only imagine how fucking stupid that looked to anyone not indoctrinated from birth.

I caught the back end of it (literally last 2 songs). Virtually no one (of the assembled VIPs) looked like they wanted to be there. Not least Charlie and Camilla. Lame dad dancing all round for the cameras. Fucking weird.

I was relieved to miss the entire coronation by attending a rugby game - perhaps the only good reason anyone's ever had for visiting Leicester - although the whole, "Please be upstanding, if you can, to sing the national anthem" before kick-off was a bit of a pisser.

I mean he’s just making the most of the very limited time he has left, and I don’t blame him for it.

It would have been interesting as a "here is how people used to do things, isn't that weird!" display at a renaissance fair or something. Until you realise no, they still do it like that, they still have power, and you're paying for it.

All the robes, swords, oils, rods and holy hand grenades… I mean it was deeply erotic but it doesn’t help me while I’m shopping at Lidl.
