Yeah so did I. I’ve got hundreds and now they get restocked automatically. Every time I rest it’ll be like Christmas.

That you can conveniently seem to only access and manage at the blacksmith, so you previously had to drop out of the level to restock for free.
Seems like there is a ‘go to map’ option after you finish a level now, too, mercifully.

And, if they are patching niggles, patch the sale price of gear. An item is worth far, far less to just sell than if you salvage it and sell the jewels.
Make it the same price to remove that step, ffs.

I did wonder why I never had arrows even though I purchased 100.
Fought a pretty tricky boss last night that took 4-5 goes but that made me enjoy it way more than the 1 and done ones. I actually had to learn some combos etc. Great fight. I checked on Google and looks like I've got one full chapter left. Still only done one or two side missions right at the start but I'm a bit over leveled from never dying and also helping my son through about half of his game.

I have so much money from selling jewels, I literally bought 1000 crossbow bolts last night because I was sick of running out and then googled how to restock when I seemed to still be limited to like 10 at a time.

I never even thought about selling jewels. I've got about a billion of them.

When you start changing up your build, you run out of money for upgrades quite quickly, so I was looking for something to sell and had like 6000 jewels, so started punting them and noticed the jewel yield was higher than the straight gear sell price, annoyingly.

Ha, what a pain. So dismantle first, sell jewels after. Got it.

Any way of changing the martial arts on your weapons?
I've found a couple of ones I'd like to use but they have martial arts that don't suit my playstyle at all.

Unfortunately you can't. I was interested in doing the same and looked it up. Would be a good thing to change in an update....

I don’t think so. If you’re looking for something specific I think the only thing you can do equip the giant hammer with the weapon drop attribute and cross your fingers

Shame - thanks for the replies.
Now I've done Lu Bu I doubt it'll matter much anyway from the sounds of it!

While we're on the subject of Martial Arts (and because I remember a few posts here saying they weren't sure if they were worth it compared to just a strong attack), may I present Exhibit A in their favour: The Guding Blade is bullshit, Part 1
Note how using the skill deals more Spirit damage than a critical deflection, even when I'm on negative Spirit myself as I use it (admittedly you can see that last bit better in the other video I can't upload yet, here it only happened once). And I doubt it's the only weapon to have such a strong Art on it (well, Thunderous Impact is exclusive to it, but something else of similar strength). And this one in particular is obtainable just by reaching Bond 10 with Sun Jian. Exhibit B would be Aoye up on the mountain when saving the sage (I'd like to have some of whatever that thing's model designers were on), but that video isn't up on Live yet...

Finished Wo Long last night, it’s a good game, but I was also relieved when the credits rolled. I don‘t see myself in NG+ anytime soon (although I *do* want to find a 5-star item, hmmmm)

Yeah, I’m done with the campaign and just finishing off the last few sub missions now, which seem to be just boss rush levels. I don’t think I’ll rush into NG+ unless there is a big patch/DLC.
I enjoyed it fine and, for me, powered through it but it was a bit frustrating mainly because a lot of things felt quite regressive after Nioh 2. Systems and features that just weren’t there made it feel a bit unfinished. It’s an odd one to score. Feels like a 7/10 but I did really enjoy playing it so maybe an 8?

Only had two goes and I'm sure I'll beat it tomorrow when I get back on. Beat the few bosses before all first time.

Liu Bei is bollocks. Just spam the place with lightning why don’t you. Grade A bullshitter that one. Hated him almost as much as Lu Bu. Almost.

The lighting balls ruined the fight. Rest was fun. Him spamming that shit as he attacks you is second level crap. Got him though.

All done. Probably took another five attempts. Just had to be super aggressive like last sekiro boss. Great game. 8/10. Dropped points for having 7000 cut scenes to skip and not all that interesting levels Vs from games. Combat amazing though.

How did you stay aggressive when he can poise through literally everything?
I gave up trying to actually fight him after a couple of tries and just strapped in for another Lu Bu style counter slog. The only time I really proactively attacked him was to drop some ice when he was about to launch those spirit bombs.

Always put on lightening on my sword then rushed him. Parried, attacked immediately. If he flew away re applied the buff then charged after him. Most of the things in the air took a while to trigger so I could be on him when he landed. As soon as the lightening triggered on him I'd switch to fire and carry on to set him on fire as well. I loved the fact he could also parry though.

Well, that was the thing that made me give up. You can parry fine when he closes in but you can only get one maybe two hits in before he starts attacking again, so you can’t really commit to anything worthwhile. Didn’t really seem worth the effort/risk.

Finished on 38 hours, which includes helping my son on half of the levels, and at lvl 101. All main gear at +9.

Same, although I think I was an even higher level and it just kept blowing though everything so it didn’t seem worth the effort.
Not that it really matters as the Lu Bu fight gives you the tactics for things with super armour so it wasn’t a massive effort to just parry everything and snatch the odd flame blast.

I couldn’t quite resist and did have a quick NG+ session. Similarly as in Nioh 2, you have lots of levels unlocked already, so you don‘t need to play the campaign again in the same order. You can also switch back to the „old“ difficulty at any time.
Not finished an entire level, but (mini)bosses hit a lot harder, a *lot*. Chests are even more disappointing than before.
What‘s a bit disappointing is that there do not seem to be any new min-max/smithing/fiddling with gear mechanics.
The game feels quite unfinished in that respect - why can I buy white1-star gear at the smith, when there is no way to turn it into something better?
How can I ever hope to collect the rest of a set of which I only ever found a pretty brilliant helmet?

Yeah the blacksmith is just so half baked. There's no point in any of that one star gear.
I think I'm near the end. I'm about to start the second main mission of chapter six and I presume I'm getting there.

It was the same in Nioh, tbf. The blacksmith only sold shit gear but obviously the other smithing options were a lot more powerful to compensate.
You can roll gear from the hermit but the RNG absolutely sucks so it’s virtually impossible to get what you want. When I respecced to water I managed to repeatedly roll the only twin swords that scale with fire.
Prestige for gear was similarly annoying for Nioh 2 except the guy doesn’t make that ‘oooooooooooh’ noise when you get something good.
