It’s got a bit of a Half-Life vibe about it, but think Ravenholm. /sold

I clearly wasn't in the mood for this with the heat... Got past the first chase sequence and got stuck on a rooftop a short while after that and couldn't find anywhere to jump to. just after the little roll the barrel puzzle Will give it another try tonight when my brain isn't complete mush due to the heat. Definitely seems a bit dark for younger kids.

I did have some WTF moments as my overheated brain couldn’t work out the puzzles. But once I realised how it was guiding you and teaching some things via play, I started to appreciate the world more.
Fully agree that it’s good that something a bit different is getting such a good reception. Don’t really need another FPS/crafting/open world game right now

“What if Half Life 2 but cats?” is a hell of a sales pitch Cats don’t like water, so I don’t see how they can get past the boat level.

Got the Plat. Hardest trophy is not getting attacked in the first chase as it’s about 50% luck. Luckily it’s quick to restart. The 2 hour speed run is pretty generous.

Digging this. As others have said, atmosphere and attention to detail is great. The way the cat feels is masterful. I'm exploring quite a bit, which is a good sign.
If Sony support their online service with titles like this regularly, I'm game. Anything to get people to try something a bit different and unique should be applauded.

I such a nice game. Feels extremely well thought out. I'm sad it's not longer (I'm only two hours in), but it's a wonderful world to be in. So far it's a great blend of adventure, platformer, action, and puzzling. And I'll reiterate that the music is absolutely belting - definitely evokes FF7, as someone else said.

finished this yesterday...lovely little game and exactly what i needed...so many lovely little touches
the prompted jumping was a concern from early footage but it makes so much sense in the context of the game
oh yes, and there is a boat level...

It looks wonderful, and the animations, are top notch, but after an hour or so I wonder if there is ever more to it than "press x"?

The online buzz is making me interested. What's the game like, is it a relaxing fun romp with puzzles and some action? Or does it have any annoying difficult elements (I'm still thinking about Rain World here)?

You can die as there's a trophy for doing it 9 times, but it's not something that is easy to do as I'm at chapter 12 and there's only been 2 or 3 parts were you can actually get hurt as there really isn't a lot of action.
It's a pretty looking game, good music and it's relaxig to play. Worth blasting through for a few easy hours.

Regular opportunities to scratch furniture and knock things off shelves for no more reason than that's what cats do and it's fun. Oh, and you can knock stacks of books over by jumping on them.

Saves are a bit crap though as it only seems to autosave after a story moment. Twice I've had to do around 5 minutes if gameplay again when loading up. Not a lot of work really but still frustrating that you can't save on exit.

To be fair to it if you press 'options' to get to the menu it does tell you how long since the last save so you can at least make an informed decision about quit time unlike some games.

True but still not the most convenient. Since last post I picked up one piece for the story and it saved, took about 15 mins to get a few memories etc and still didn't come to the next story part which seems to be the only time the autosave happens.
Autosave on exit is just a weird thing not to have nowadays and considering there's plenty of places for you to sleep they could easily have allowed an autosave in those spots.
