No love for the Phillips Videopac G7000?
Did you read the topic title?
We had one of those when I was young. My dad worked at Philips and we could "try out" stuff. My mom and I had a good competition going with the pacman clone (she won).

Big fan of the Mega Drive, the Japanese version with its burgundy accent was quite nice. I think Xbox have had really good designs bar the og Xbox and the Xbox one.

I think I like the US one more is because when Total magazine started hyping the SNES up this is what they kept showing so I was a bit disappointed with the rounded edges etc. In the end I didn't care cos Super Mario World

I'm with Voodoo. US SNES over PAL and JP SNES.

That's like preferring the red swirl on the US Dreamcast. Crazy.

If we're including handhelds, then I think the PS Vita was a nicely designed bit of kit. If not, then I think the slimline Xbox 360 wins out for me; it had a nice build to it, very clean box with a slight tucking in, in the middle, and, if I remember right, a bit of texture to it. It was the 'Pammy' Virgin Cola bottle of consoles.

The red swirl IS better!
The Turbo Grafx 16 was booty though. PC Engine all the way.

Did you read the topic title? I certainly did Yeah, I had one. Absolutely mental thing. And bizarrely, someone else in the village that I grew up in had one too. Very rare! We used to swap games. Oh, they are long gone days...

The US SNES looks really cheap, like what you'd put in a meme today as wish.com version of SNES.

The US SNES looks really cheap, like what you'd put in a meme today as wish.com version of SNES. I have the exact opposite opinion. The US version is some nice thick matte plastic, sleek lines and edges, more coherent color scheme. The Super Famicom a little plastic slab that someone threw little MS Paint stamps on top.

I always wanted a SEGA CDX, as it was named here. I don't know if anyone here's a Macross fan, but if it weren't for possible heating issues, I've always wanted to take the Series X and place it on a high table, with a cape draped over it. Cosplay my damned Xbox as Sharon Apple.
