I would definitely play Valhalla again before say, Horizon. I'll pick Outlaws up at some point. Oh man I couldn't do that to myself. Valhalla truly was one of the most boring games I've ever played. In my defence, I didn't say that I was actually going to do it ... 😁

I managed to get the VR mod working, was pretty good as an experience and as long as there are no major bugs could see myslef playing with it...
... until a major update dropped this morning and has reduced it back to pancake mode! I guess that is the peril with unoficial mods, its a shame but I'll have to wait to see if the mod is updated. In future I'll block Ubisoft Connect from auto updating.

I still can't get over the fact that you can knockout a stormtrooper with one punch in SW Outlaws. It just looks so wrong.
Definitely a wait till it's a PSN freebie for me.

To be fair an Ewok is able to knock one out with his helmet on.

Its stupid but what's the alternative? Snap their neck? I guess some kind of tazer would make sense.

Viable alternatives would be:
Choke hold. Ask them to remove their helmet first, then bop them. Fart in their face.
There's no real alternative tbh to quickly knock out enemies in a stealth game. I think there's always got to be suspension of disbelief anyway. Heightened realism doesn't equal more fun.
Anyway I really do want to play this but I'm also waiting til it's a wee bit cheaper.

There is electro shock stick in the game, that could of been the 1st item you get to knock out storm troopers

Would that actually knock them out, or just make them piss themselves?

I suppose these days anything goes in Star Wars but in the original films and games it was blasters and lightsabres. Maybe the odd butt of a rifle and it took about 4 Ewoks with stones to take one out. Even walking into a 20 tonne steel door wasn't able to take one down. 😁

Finished the main storyline a few days ago and it's confirmed its place as my favourite Star Wars game of all time, sorry TIE Fighter you had a good thirty year run. The Outlaws space combat isn't as good though of course.
It's the closest I've felt to be in the Star Wars universe since I was being questioned by a buckethead about Greedo's shooting in the Mos Eisley cantina during The Empire Strikes Back Secret Cinema.
It's got some niggles that could do with fixing, using equipment is still bizarre even with the quick grenade change, but on the whole it's an absolute must for a Star Wars fan and not a light sabre in sight.
Still got a bunch of stuff to do, lots of vaults need emptying.
As for the shock stick it takes a while to get and it's only needed for Gamorreans and Death Troopers, I'm okay with that Kay should probably shake her fist a bit after decking a trooper but I'm not too fussed she punches out people in a single blow if they're unaware.

Ermagad, displacing TIE Fighter? That's not only the best Star wars game, but the best star wars IP overall.
Seems like I will need to play this... (When it comes to game pass).

I would have loved if EA had done a proper single player game with the battlefront engine. Looked spectacular, got all the sounds and scale down to a T. Fantastic locations, even the ship flying was decent.
A pity they had to make it a MP game in the main. If it had added a solid 10-15 hour single player game it would have been up there with the best.

Yeah, I'd personally have loved a mission based Rebel Assault-like game in the Battlefront engine, mixture of FPS missions, ala Dark Forces, and some X-Wing/Tie Fighter dog fight stuff, with potentially other vehicular stuff on Endor/Hoth etc.

The single player mode that came with BF2 was a bit rubbish though. Tried very much to be Call of Duty in Star Wars, but barely even managed to be that. Think it ended on a cliffhanger too, with the intention of more levels being released post-release, but I'm guessing the reaction to the game in general scuppered those plans.

Look, I love Jedi Knight and X-Wing vs TIE Fighter and Racer and etc, but we all know the best Star Wars game is Yoda Stories.

A bit like Mass Effect. I played it at the time. Enjoyed it. Never finished it for whatever reason. I tried to go back and it is tough. Sometimes just have to accept I can't be bothered to play those games anymore.

I was shocked trying to play Mass Effect 2 a few years back. Felt like shit on PC. I'm guessing it was mainly designed around playing on a pad (which is weirdly not an option on the PC version), so the M+K controls just felt flat. Controversial, but I actually much preferred the feel of 1.
I was meaning to do a complete trilogy play through, but gave up about halfway through 2. So, still never actually played 3. I do have the remasters, so probably should give them a go sometime.

Mass Effect 1 was something I never managed to get through either, I think a lot of that was down to the 360 more than anything else. The trilogy was a PS+ title so I've got it again and may give it another go at some point.

Mass Effect 1 was improved in the remaster, better framerate, loading, some QoL to the gameplay. Worth trying again
