Me son is struggling a lot more on these bosses than in sekiro. Confirmed BB is harder. The movesets are a little more random/wide reaching etc (with good reason). Things like Amelia's swipes and smashes, Amy's rage, anything Orphan does all pretty much require you to know the pattern ahead of time. Sekiro let you rely on reactions mostly, so the yoof were always going to have the edge and that's why it's a terrible game. |

One of my favourite films I had on video when I was a nipper was Urotsukidoji. The sexual content went straight over my head, but I loved all the monsters and the idea that cool stuff was happening. In hindsight, my parents were rubbish and I should never have been watching that. But I hardly ever shit myself playing Bloodborne, so there is that
edit: It's a very bad film and I don't recommend it
edit 2: According to Wikipedia, Channel 4 rated it one of the top 100 cartoons (presumably of all time). I still don't recommend it

You have to admit The Surge was pretty shonky. Again, I've not played 2 so that might be awesome. Less said about Lords of the Fallen the better I enjoyed both Surge games, but would agree 1 was a bit shonky. The Surge 2 I thought was excellent though, I really enjoyed it. If Roguey was still here on this forum (unless he still is?) then he'd give a more eloquent rundown of why he felt the combat was excellent. I've read that the game (and maybe 1 as well) runs at 60fps on PS5 without patching, so that's a neat bonus! |

That was mighty popular in the HMV 4 for £20 VHS sale iirc. Still haven't seen it. Thos fools were also buying Dude Where's My Car and Vanilla Sky. |

Yeah I've got a list to go through: Dark Souls III
Nioh The Surge Ashen SekiroRemnant The Surge 2 Code Vein Nioh 2Mortal Shell Hellpoint Elden Ring In release order as far as I know, and not counting the platformer-like ones which I'm less fussed about...tho Hollow Knight will be the exception. I'd play these ones first, before you get burnt out on the fomula. And Dark Souls 2 again because you clearly weren't paying attention Heh heh, it is pretty damn good. The dlc areas are top tier especially. As for all the other stuff...I have played and actually enjoyed Lords of the Fallen, so my standards are rather low. I don't intend to play then all one after another, that would certainly mean burn-out, so instead I will slowly hack my way through them all, reaching Elden Ring when you all are playing Bloodborne 2 or something. |

As good as it is, I'm not sure a sequel is necessary. I think From should carry on doing one off games like BB and Sekiro to keep things fresh, rather than getting mired down in one setting.

Still never played Dark Souls 2. Only soulsborne game I've never played (though admittedly I didn't get very far into Sekiro). I do own it on both PC and PS, so I should probably fix that at some point.
